Thanks for setting this challenge Suzanne, like you, I don't have much mixed media experience, so I was immediately drawn to this challenge. I've also never worked with prompts, so it's a double challenge for me, and I'm really enjoying it and enjoying seeing how you approach the prompts. I'm a recent subscriber and so glad I found you, tfs Karen xx

where can I find the information on the prompts and the challenge? I would love to do this as well. I love your channel, it is calming to watch your ways of crafting.

Hello! You can get a copy of the prompt list from my KoFi shop (free) here: ko-fi.com/s/ec438d12bc Each Thursday I release my video sharing the next prompt and how I create my card 😊

You want to know what I use for my heated sponge LOL I use flip flops from the dollar stores LOL. I was doing that before I even knew there was such a thing. I also use dollar stores version of play doh which is great for getting designs off of fancy bottles etc. Your card tuned out so lovely. I love butterflies. ☺♥

😯 that's so cool! Do the flip flops work well? I would never have thought about those! Haha, brilliant hack!

@@nonstoppapercrafts The ones that I bought 3-4 years ago worked out great. Time to buy a new pair though because I lost my block with my last studio organization lol. Maybe I will do a quick video of it when I do buy a new pair ☺♥

TIP!!! When splattering paint onto your project, tapping the brush from the top makes the paint go up. If you tap the brush downward on something from the top, the splats will go down!

I’m a fan and subscriber to DJ @ Hither & Yon and Lou Collins. So when I saw DJ was doing this challenge I immediately paused her vid. and switched to yours and watched your 1st week…loved it, subscribed to you and printed the challenge sheet to start my 1st week tomorrow. What a great idea and will get me working on bettering my attempts at mixed media. Your break-in to mixed media makes it look as if you have been doing it all along. Great job and thank you for sharing.

Very nice! I just found you. It's hard to find people that mix card making and mixed media. I have subbed and will be following along, thank you! Do you know the name of the Sizzix die cuts with the butterflies and frame? I can't find it currently. Edited to add-I realize these are index cards, and can be made into regular cards, but A lot of people that do mixed media do junk journals. I prefer this.
@nonstoppapercrafts9 сағат бұрын
Thank you so much ❤️ it's funny because I had mentioned that these would make great card fronts when I was recording this week's card video 😊 I'm pleased you will be following along. This is the die set with the butterflies and frame: amzn.to/4juCJmZ

I have one of those stick pens and tried to use it to pick up some gems but it didn’t work. Lol Live how your card came out.
@nonstoppapercrafts20 күн бұрын
Thank you 😊 I have found those stick pens to be a bit hit and miss. They work most of the time but if the gem is upside down I still have to try and fiddle with it with my fingers to get it the right way, at which point I'm wondering why I need the tool lol
