My dad put this song among others on a mix tape in 1983. He died unexpectedly in 1984. I discovered this in 1986 when I was 5 and i've loved it ever since. Still have that red and white Realistic Low Noise 90 tape!

Clare wrote this song along with her husband to be in the group. It is a very special song and it means a lot to her. I watched her perform this live at Croxteth County Park in Liverpool summer 2019 and the whole group were just as good as they were back in the 80’s. A sheer delight 😀👍👌

Altered Images played at Lancaster in 1982 and of all the gigs I went to that year theirs is the one I still remember. The band was on top form, and played a blinder, but Clare made the whole thing special. That voice, that face, that figure - she was totally wonderful. I wish there was a video record of that night.

That night at Siouxsie/Altered Images gig, almost 40 years ago to the day now. I am helping with my mates, to take down the gig,unload band items, etc & we've just finished. I'm 19 & fit & I'm stood talking to my mates, who suddenly stop talking & stare over my shoulder to my left. I turn, ....and there, 5 yards away, is CLARE, not only looking at me, but staring & fixing my gaze with a smile. I smile back & remain frozen to the spot.....wouldn't do to look uncool, uncouth, in front of your mates, sort of thing...... Then the moment passes.....into history.....and, well, it's NOT like I've even remembered it at all....or regretted it, for almost 40 years!!....Jeez no. ...(Yesterdays shatter....Tomorrows don't matter).

For the longest time, this had been blocked in the U.S. of A, and geo-restriction is a concept I've always thought was stupid. So you can imagine my excitement that they've loosened up and I finally get to see this after all these years. And I've gotta tell you: the song, Clare Grogan rocking the cardigan, the camera, the flowers, and so on made it all worth the wait.

it's not a cardigan, it's a sweater / jumper. Cardigans zip or button up in the middle
