This was gonna be an alternate future of the world, but I quickly realized there's no way I'm redesigning the flags of that many countries. This story is based on the alternate history and story of the Half-Life universe. While not necessary, learning about it could be helpful to understand why the world's so... Off. There are many references, including some alternate history of the world, AKA backstory. But not everything, I like a good mystery. I dunno what to write here.
