Alternate History [Ep3] : German intervention in Russia - every odd day

At the end of the Great war, the ruins of the old autocratic Russia fell to a communist Revolution. Under it's new socialist dictator Vladimir Lenin, Russia accepted a harsh peace treaty enacted by Germany in 1918.
Germany became increasingly concerned as Russia successively consolidated and grew after it's exit from the war. In 1919, the German Empire would invade Soviet Russia in an effort to quell the Bolshevik revolution.

Interesting scenario, however Denikin would never side with Germans. He refused to side with Nazis, when they even took his wife under arrest under German occupation of France, and he refused to save her and to work for nazis by writing books about Civil War and say something good about nazi party in them. He was hateful towards Kaiser's regime too, as it supported Lenin at first and revolution blossomed so good only because of German support at the beginning, when Lenin got to Russia from Switzerland. However Kaiser understood that it was a mistake quite fast, so this scenario is quite realistic in the matter of events.

This is ww1, the german empire had nothing to do with nazi's mate. There is no goal of genocide like the nazi's had, especially when the russian royal family where blood relatives to the german royal family.

@@cqpp , what I mean is that Denikin would never side Germans. Both Kaiserists or Nazis. Both. While Krasnov was using help of German colleagues in real life, Denikin could barely stand the fact that his army is being armed by his old enemy. What would he do if they'd intervene into the Civil War this much? I don't know, but I don't think he would side the Germans.

i really liked this video and i think the way its done is okay, what i would change is the fact that Germany ´pushed so far into Russia, i think supply lines for the troops fighting in the front would not reach. The white borders are a bit weird especially with Japan.

My biggest ick with this is with Denikin becoming head of state, which is something not only the Germans wouldn’t want (they would want a royal installed) and something that Denikin himself didn’t want (he rejected Kolchak’s proposal to become head of state during the end of the Russian civil war in our timeline). I think it would be much more realistic if Grand Duke Kirill became the Grand Duke of a new Grand Duchy of Russia. He would probably suck up to the Germans to gain that position and could be easily used as a puppet by the Germans.

Riddarstolphe Nakhchivan is rightful Azerbaijani land even today. And Zangazur was ceded to Armenia with self-determination in the Soviet era after ethnic cleansing of the area by the dashnaks. But Nahkchivan remained in Azerbaijan. So, if the Ottomans won the war there have to be one possibility: Azerbaijan would aveng of its slaughtered people with the help of the Ottomans and secure the area (if the ethnic cleansing and invading took place in Kaiserreich, if not then Zangazur did not fell into the hands of Armenia either). The Ottoman annexation of Armenia was a small possibility because Armenian independence was already recognized by the Ottomans, sure they had some annexation plans but Nakhchivan and Zangazur were not included. Also, the Ottomans helped Azerbaijan to secure Nakhchivan, it passed into the hands of the Armenians only after the mondros treaty. However, there is not neither Mondros nor any other thing. One more thing I want to point out, Enver Pasha had pan-turanist viewes which aims to create an Islamic Turan Empire which was including Azerbaijan, Dagestan, Turkestan and Northern Iran but it's too fantastic viewes in both our and in this timeline.

Poorly worked up with a complete lack of mention of the primary cause of the original collapse of the Tsarist government--starvation. And the actual mass starvation of this era through to the true famine of 1920-21 is not integrated in this "scenario" either. The famine under the first chaoto-anarcho-communist parasite regime resulted in the deaths of many millions of people--by one [admittedly extreme] estimate, 12,000,000. This is said without meaning to insult or offend, but I don't believe that any of you armchair speculators have ever worked a farm by hand or have ever been truly hungry. I have done/been both.
