Not that much.. 1-2 line will be reduced with +1.0D. There is no specific rule though....

@@nsr2839 Binocular balancing is not about 6/6 visual Acuity. It's about balance of Accommodation in both eyes...

according to David B Elliot, +1.00D will reduce VA by 4 lines especially monocularly. remember in this case of Binocular balancing, both eyes are open and VA will not be as reduced as monocularly when +1.00D is added. "my opinion though"
