I remember hearing this for the first time back when Alter Man's fight was more or less finalized in the dev builds, and the nostalgic rush it produced was nothing short of incredible. Seriously, I don't think I can thank you enough for giving him such a fantastic remix for a boss theme. I hope everyone else out there enjoys the fight and the song just as much!

As the #1 Alter Man super fan, who's gone as far as to give him a skin, a class, AND superboss fight in Mega Man 8-Bit Death Match in the past before, alongside musing him for as long as the game's been out... This entire fight and song has made me the happiest man alive. The sheer rush made me bounce around and all I could do was stare in awe at the new design. I need to know more. I *need* to know so much more about this reborn parasite who's stuck to me. Great job, all of you. I don't think any Mega Man fangame fight will make me feel joy the way this did, when I've been cherishing Alter Man for so long... 🥺

Both are incredible! Alter Man's new design is SO COOOOLL GRRAAAARGHAHG! Funnily enough, though, I had listened to some of the OST of MaGMML 3 earlier in the game prior to reaching this fight, and despite seeing him plain and clear on the OST cover numerous times, it never clicked in my brain until I saw him in-game that it was, in fact, Alter Man.

One thing I love about MaGMML is how much it loves to celebrate itself. The amount of callbacks to previous entries and characters from previous just accelerates this game's awesomeness, moreso than if it were to *only* make references to other Mega Man fangames. And seeing a character like Alter Man, who was essentially just a Mega Man reskin in the second game, get a whole new redesign, lore *and* new fight music just puts a big smile on my face unlike any other piece of fan media. (It had been a while since I've played MaGMML2 so it took me a bit to reallise this song was a remix of Identity Crisis's last section. But when I did I friggen popped off akxbskdbdk this is so cool!) The MaGMML games to me are my ideal game in the way it handles itself and I'm so happy something like this exists.

I don't know why but I felt alittle sad after defeating him in magmml3. I honestly felt like there is more to Alter Man more then just being a Robot Master fight. I don't know what happened to him after the fight, but I hope Alter Man is doing alright.

Aside this being the better fit Boss Theme for Alter Man himself, i think this also might've been the Theme for the Final Section of that Scrapped MAGMML2 Level named "Alter Man's Revenge", which involve him fighting Robot Masters from the various entries and gaining their weapons, which would be how the player would unlock the alternate weapons. Shinryu scrapped this due to time constraints.

Yeah, I'm seconding/confirming what Dark's Tunes said. While it's true I had a Tier X level in-mind for MaGMML2 with that name, it didn't get past the concept stage and the early coding for it (which is how the alter weapons even came to be, for that matter). This song here was made specifically for Alter Man's fight in MaGMML3, and I'd say Dark's Tunes did an absolutely stellar job with it.

Or can i just start fresh whit this one? i mean i just clicked on the video because i was curious and it is really good music, its the first time hearing about this game. The only megaman fan game ik was the megaman maker game and like a random mmbn fan game i once played the early version of.
