hey, i wanna buy all evolution holo reprints but not all are available right now and shipping costs 9 euros. is it worth it for like 8 holos or should i wait to buy all at once? because either i pay shipping a couple of times or i take the risk that if one card is in stock again the other one isn‘t anymore. i can‘t make a decision.

Wasnt his rookie it was his second year card, a card that pairs well today like that is the 2012 topps heritage mike trout, that pulls 300 in psa 10, not his rookie but people love the card and the set. I bit the bullet and bought one at a yard sale at a good time.

My current chase is low pop cards. I recently flipped a pop2 psa10 for 4x my purchase price, emphasized the scarcity and boom sold!

It's funny to hear kids bragging about flipping a cards. The guy who bought it probably didn't think twice about paying a higher price, because true "collectors" will buy cards like this and keep them long term. In the end your little flip will be nothing compared to the long term growth of a rare (low pop) card.

Other sets like aquapolis skyridge although they are not as old, but were printed a whole lot less so the cards are much more rare so much higher prices. Check PSA card populations if you want to get a general estimate on card rarity! Lmk if you have any other questions!

In 25 years alpha lotus has gone up from say 250 to 50k. A 200x multiplier. In the next 25 years??? Feels to me that we will be lucky to see 100k in growth. Its ran up for a long time. Have realistic expectations is very important. Yes could be changes in popularity that add/subtract from demand. Could have wotc pushing their political agenda even further and turning more of the market away. Or a movie could ignite a firestorm of new customers. I see the lotus going up in 25 years. But not by 200x again. But a 5x-6x is feasible.
