Thank you so much for the information. Honestly I dislike when dentists do not explain all of your options. I have a family member with new upper dentures and he's having a hard time adjusting we were looking into other options but everyone pushes full implants. We will bring this info to the dentist next time we go thank you 😊

Hi Dr Reuben, I’ve learnt that you’re quite responsive and I’ve been watching your videos lately and I messaged you before. I really wanted to ask you about having braces with a missing first molar. I went to my dental implant consultation and I was told that my teeth were crooked slightly and that where I clench my teeth it wasn’t really the ideal bite and I believe it could be because of my missing molar. I was then told that I should go to an orthodontist and get braces and then opt for my dental implant surgery. I’m really worried that if I get braces it may fill in the gap of my missing first molar and that is what I wish to prevent from happening. How could I help my case? I plan to get a dental implant once my bite is a little better (although to me it looks very normal and ok) and some of my crooked teeth are fit and straight. :((
