When my ex abandoned me two days after my Dad died I was at Life's lowest ebb and really didn't know what to do with myself, particularly at weekends. So I bought a battered little Teddy from a charity shop, cleaned him up and took him on my travels, inserting him into the photographs I took which not only cheered me up it cheered other friends going through depression too (we called it 'Ted's Travels'). You could do a new strand of your vlog by putting little Jack in your bag and showing him the sights too!! So glad your flat is sorted. xx

I had a tiny bear I took on all my holidays. my now ex and myself and a mad crowd, went on a cruise around the med. I used to sit little Ted in the window of my cabin when we used to get off. I said to a friends as we got off the ship, wave to little Ted. They all thought I was quite mad. Anyway, one day I couldn’t find him!! I was nearly crying. A note was slipped under the cabin door, with a small polarised picture of little Ted, with a blind fold on and tied up with string, saying if you want to see little Ted again, you have got to buy us all a drink in the bar tonight. I downsized a few years ago now from a family home to an apartment. I had raised my family in that house but once they all left home it seemed a waste of a house to just have me and my cat rattling around in it. Naturally it was bought by a young family. The young family grew and, unexpectedly, expanded so earlier this year they decided to sell and buy somewhere bigger. I couldn't resist taking a peep at the listing and was appalled. Their tastes are not my tastes and it was rather disappointing seeing what was once my lovely home looking as it did. I won't make that mistake again! Excited for your move and delighted to hear you've invested in some pre-loved furniture. My own home is furnished with a combination of inherited, new and pre-loved. It adds interest and character to an interior and I can't wait to see how you style your new home.

Afternoon Suzi great news about the flat. Love jack bear! I have a 6 foot forever friends bear. Use to have hundreds of the bears but gave a lot away and only have a very few now. Could never have any other bears as they fight. I have a forever friends glove puppet who has travelled with me all over the world. He has his own passport and things! Mad or what I am 72! I sold my house in Hampshire when I lost my husband but would never go back! Love that black and green top, you look so great in black Suzi. I moved 2 years ago in November from the Midlands to the Lincolnshire coast. All 4 kids grown and living their own lives. So I decided to downsize. My God it was stressful at times. I decluttered lots of stuff. I regularly go and do beach cleaning on my own here and with a beachcare group in the next village. Best of luck with the move. 🏠🌊🥂x
