So inspiring watching you go through your wips, I have the opposite problem where I overthink each project so procrastinate starting until I’ve finished the current one. My current project is a Tunisian crochet blanket though and I need to start on a friend’s present asap! Also love the ice nine kills shirt at the end🖤

Really enjoyed this video. It is inspiring me to tackle my yarn/library. (My husband claims it's a fire hazard!) Two things that came to mind as I watched you today: 1) I'll bet that t-shirt yarn would make cool baskets worked off one of those wooden bases and 2) I use stitch markers with number or letter charms to keep track of what size hooks I've used on my (to many) WIPs. I put them on at the beginning of a project and only take them off when I finish (or frog) the project. Take care.
@AltKnots

Ive got gloves for my brother, a baby blanket im so behind on that momma and baby visited us at work today, and a dune inspired cowl for fathers day. Is it too hot for a cowl? Maybe, but i heard the "fear is the mind killer" speech the other day and my dad loves that speech so i think he'll like it anyways. I know it doesnt sound like much but i work in a factory in texas. I have no energy when i get home and my hands hurt. Im doing my best.

The algorithm knows me well and showed me your videos! *looks around my house* Yes, gurl! Halloween everyday!!! Been enjoying your videos and I had to comment. OMG! I use a Boppy too! It's helpful for lazy time, so much better for the arms and hands. (I'm a Massage Therapist, so I gotta keep my hands happy.) Love the cover you made. My new favorite is crocheting at my standing desk using my walking pad, raising the desk so arms can be high but comfy. I get 3,000-7,000 steps easily and the hooking keeps me distracted from the walkin! Haha! Thank you for sharing your crochet time with us! Also, thank you for the Code Orange. Okay, I feel inspired! It's not like I have a lot of WIPs right now, but...I keep going "SQUIRREL!" and starting something different instead of finishing up the difficult WIP, and then I can't remember where I was at with the difficult one (well, and also I made my kid a lesbian pride sweater vest for her birthday that took me away from everything else for a month). I'm making a skull cardigan using a bunch of separate patterns, so remembering where I'm at is going to take research. So much research. I think I need to finish the spiral box sweater (easy) and then actually label each finished part of the skull cardigan and figure out where I left off and THEN finish it before summer.
@AltKnots
@AltKnots 4 ай бұрын
I totally get that. Eventually I'll have an organization system in place for all the patterns I'm working on and where I'm at. 🎃

I buy those little plastic tote bags at Joann and in them I place my current and future projects. Right now for current projects I have 7 bags around my chair in my living room. Why around my chair? Because Im 65 with mobility issues, so I tend to put them where I am sure to trip over them...I mean be able to reach them easily...LOL. Now out in my shed, I have four or five more bags o sewing projects, I hand sew, to do, my biggest problem that takes me so long is a hand injury years ago, which wound up becoming carpal tunnel and arthritis in both hands. BUT I will prevail! I'm almost finished with two of the projects, finished one last night. Its nice to see Im not the only one who starts a project, puts it aside to start another.

Hi crafty folks! I don't feel like I have a lot of WIPs, but I have a lot of projects lined up. Right now, I'm working on a cable blanket to gift to a friend, a mosaic blanket for my daughter, a knit scarf for the daughter, and a knit sweater for the daughter. I actually starting crocheting an I-cord necklace for my pentacle while I watched you get your own WIPs cleared out. I'm new to knit, but I've been crocheting for awhile, but I feel like I'm so slow at it! I like to have at least 3 projects going on (at least one knit and one crochet) because I have plans for so many large projects. Having more than one WIP helps keep me from burning out and losing interest in a project. I just would like to be faster!

I mean, honestly, I wouldn't weave in the ends the dangling yarn bits definitely make me think of Sally, love it. Also your coffee station set up is awesome, and gratz on getting so many wips done. My current wips are: a meshy blanket for summer, a neon granny square blanket, a hex cardigan in the Rave yarn, a pastel vaporwave sunset hex cardigan, a gigantic solid granny triangle shawl (on the scallop edge and some appliqués) and I'm sure there is more even if I can't remember right now lol.
