Mine breed in a community tank about every 4 months. I take the fry out. Keep them in a clean bottom tank. Really slow growing. But worth it.

They grow Very very slow , I got them at s good size but believe the arr approximately 3 years old

You need more rock work for the female calvus to hide in. Pm me I'll tell you how to breed them and raise the fry.
