Zenzo, just do what you want. I am a writer and years ago my first Editor told me, "Write for yourself, if you do that you will always have readers because you write far better when you like what you are doing." So same for video, do what you like, critics should do their own videos before the criticize anyone else. You make great videos! You do not ever talk too much, just be you man! I was transporting a 150 gallon tank a few days ago. I had no idea how heavy it was going to be, like 200 pounds! My friend and I are getting old, at one point I stopped and said your name three times, but nope! You didn't show up!🤣😂

I had a question, I’m planning on breeding haps , African cichlids, I’m planning to do the natural way,letting the female hold the eggs until she spits the fry out. I’m wondering how long until I should pull her out after she spits the fry, I don’t want her to get attacked by the male. Sorry if this is an easy question I’m just new to this and curious . Please and thanks!!

I'm curious to know why you mentioned the paper clip method is "more efficient"? I'm new to breeding cichlids so I would love to hear your thoughts behind it. 🙂
@TazawaTanks2 ай бұрын
I feel like the paper clip method is more efficient because it ensures that all of the fry are released without risk of being eaten, and you can then safely move the mom to another tank.

When you put the female in her own 10 gallon tank and she spits the fry out, do you immediately move her back to the community tank and separate her from the fry?

How do you know what is male and female? I've just started with mine i know i have at least one big male cos he looks like a giraffe with a blue head. And i had 3 bigger females that had freys but most (22)of my fish died when my husband helped to clean the tank. So i started from scratch almost ive got tiny colorful cichlids but don't know wether they are male or female.
@Ace_50072 жыл бұрын
Hey, I really hope you can give me some wisdom. Long story short. Male and female peacock cichlids in my main tank showed mating signs, and I immediately moved them to a smaller tank. One day later, female have mouth full of eggs. I was super happy since it's first time my cichlids having babies. I was going to move the male back to my main tank, just to give the female some space and alone time but sad to find out that she was seriously attacked by the male and she doesn't have the eggs in her mouth anymore. She is barely holding and i hope she will get better. Question is, is that normal? My understanding was the male will protect her and the eggs. I would be super appreciated if you can give me some pointers. So I dont have to make same mistakes in the future. Thank you.
