Are they load enough to be Main's for a band? Mainly running vocals and guitar, the drums and bass will be be sent to another powered sub.

We have two TS112a and one TS110a and they are great. Very Transparent and non-colored. We use them for a dance variety band. Very good value. I play music through them daily with no issues at all. Actually wish we just went with 3 10's for size and weight.

How are the 15's? I was thinking of buying a pair and an Alto sub for smaller gigs like baby showers and as a secondary system. I heard them at my local Guitar Center in Yonkers, but I was wondering how they are in places that have high ceilings, gyms, etc.

Hi Kareem, I currently have the JBL JRX 100 - 15". However i've been into upgrading my speakers for some active speakers. How do JBL 15" compare to the Alto 12" speakers? In your opinion do Alto beat the JBL hands down? I would greatly appreciate your feedback/advise. Thank you in advance.

Hey Robert, Bang per buck these Altos are simply a great active speaker. Don't take my word for it. If you have a guitar center in your area or some place who sells multiple active speakers, go in and do what I did and side by side them. I love mine and as I said bang per buck they are very hard to beat. One Love, DJ Malarky out.

to sgt b0ner: It's interesting that you feel these products are not up to par. I'm a professional audio designer, and I've had the opportunity to work with the Alto product line. In fact, I've switched many of my specifications to them. Alto is a professional upgrade from the Alesis product line, and, in my opinion (and those that have used my designs on tour) these products are perfect, high-performing, mid-range products. Very high value, when used properly. Perhaps you should try them first.

After hours of side by side comparison with some of the guys who work at the guitar center, we were all blown away by these great speakers.
