I have to say I'm more impressed with this video and comment section than others. I've watched EDC videos for 10 years and have had an edc for 20 years. People can be so bossy in the comments especially the more prominent male KZbinrs. People don't understand it's your edc not theirs. Thank you for sharing

your welcome, I have been obsessed with tiny things, and making things since I was a kid! So it comes naturally to me. Another thing I have to use is for water in a compact space, is a knee high nylon, and grocery store produce bag. You can collect water with the nylon inside the bag to filter the water id need be, and if clean, the bag can go in the nylon and fill it for stability.

@@pueblodove that's great advice! On Waypoint Survival he taught how to dig a hole, put a plastic bag in secured by rocks, pour water in and you have a sink to wash yourself/clothes then just put the dirt back after taking out the bag. I like watching hobo survival, weird I know, yet they were smart.

Very thorough assortment of "just in case" items. House key, good one. Also suggest a card/paper with emergency contact person and a few phone numbers of friends or relatives. Since numbers are in phones, now days, may not remember them. I keep an Altoids tin in my purse and in the console of the car, keep a larger one made from recycled wet wipes container. A place to keep things sometimes needed without taking up space or weighing down a purse. A few feminine products, a bit of toilet paper, a few paper towels, etc

I carry Survival stuff in my purse, I have a little stainless steel tin to cook a little in, or boil water with some coffee packets and cream in it. I also have a little Altoids tin, not the smalls, I made it into a little stove. It has a few ways to make a little fire in it, and it is so compact and cute. I also have a little ear bud type thing with nails screw in hooks, fishing stuff, tweezers, salt in small straws, paper clips, safety pins, needle and thread, etc.. I also have a small flat pink camo case knife, and a small multi tool with pliers and scissors, the pliers can be used to handle the little tin while hot on the mini stove.

@pueblodove
@pueblodove 18 күн бұрын
@@TheHandbagConnoisseur Thanks, I made the stove from the tin that when you lay it on it's side the label is on top, and it opens on the side, not the smalls or the regular. So on it's side, I used an awl and tapped holes in the top and a few in the bottom. About the size of a toothpick. Then I punctured 4 larger holes in the top to position the little pot, I use small flat screws to rest in the 4 holes to elevate the thing you cook in. How it works is you put a tiny fire inside, or wetfire, and the flame comes through the holes to cook with. the holes on the bottom are for air draw for the fire, and with the top(side) open you can put little twigs, or small fatwood in to keep the fire going. When you make it, you can use a penny or 2 at the bottom end to make better balance when the lid is open, or wherever you want to make it even. I store the screws, and penny, and some small hunks of fatwood, a tiny trial size perfume vial with dish soap, and one with olive oil, plus a tiny tin with dryer lint mixed with vaseline, a tiny bit of it will take a ferro spark, or tiny spark wheel spark. I also have a tiny piece of rag for cleanup, and a small brass pencil sharpener to make shavings from a stick to burn. I keep the spark striker with the small cook tin I use with coffee and some salt in it.

I find myself wearing the wrong shoes in a lot of situations, so my EDC first aid supplies include little strips of moleskin (adhesive backed fuzzy stuff you stick to your skin BEFORE you get a blister to reduce friction) as well as one or two blister bandages (they are gel like so they cushion the blister and they also drain some of the fluid to help with healing).
