I would say more of an EDC kit than survival kit, but nice kit still! Only thing though is, don't use the edge of your blade for the striker! Actually the pry tool might make a bettter striker. Nice vid though.

Ok there are some glaring omissions in this kit. No means of collecting water other than the tin (even a small sandwich bag would be helpful here), no forms of cordage for lashing shelter poles and stuff, no snare wire for catching small game, no fishing line for your fishing kit, and no sewing kit to repair your clothes. I'm not aiming to be a jerk here but I really think you should take another look at your tin and do some serious rebuilding before the day comes when you need it

Do you really go into your tin? I made a small tin years ago I have it in my bag that's attached to my wheelchair and yet to even use it or even look in it.

I actually use it quite a lot, but just a few of the items. I use the nail clippers and pliers often. The knife and the flashlight rarely though.
