I WAS thirteen years old, ..when this tune hit ...1973 BRIXTON LONDON UK...right by the Police station across the street...we heard this playing....the ( whole ) of BRIXTON went mad to this version , BIGGUP to " the mighty Observer Sound Thornton Heath , parchmore youth Centre .. i have lived in America for over Forty years..

I'm from London, I wasn't even alive in 73, but I know Brixton well and have spent a lot of time there over the past 20 years. Would loved to have been part of that experience in Brixton in those days. I'm sure America is great, but London has a special energy especially when it comes to reggae music and it's roots from the Caribbean people that jave come here over the decades. Growing up, hearing reggae on every house on the corner in Ladbroke Grove in the 80's and 90's! Big up friend ❤
