A similar version of Alton Towers Resort in staffordshire, England. Many aspects of the park are based on the rides and areas at the resort. Some areas are my own interpretation. Most blueprints are my own build whilst some i have used off the workshop. I thank these people for their creations and sharing them with us. Its saved me a lot of time! Ahhh that's pretty incredible! Falls apart a bit at Katanga Canyon layout-wise but lovely - should have looked around the Gardens between Dark Forest and Forbidden Valley some more, there's no rides there but it looks like he's done a good job recreating it. Shame Duel wasn't properly built, that's probably my favourite ride there, and the game doesn't support the mad things 13 does in real life, but good effort attempting it!

Not amazing, but it's okay. Some parts aren't in the right place and could simply use some rotating to fix it but others not so much. You got the main areas etc but smaller details come to play with parks like these. I understand the layout is rather hard and some coasters can be difficult due to the limits of the game, but the layout could be improved, it would be hard obviously, with the limits of the game, but it doesn't seem right at the moment. Aside from my ranting, this is a good recreation. Main rides were built decently and theming is similar. The entrance is beautiful and almost exact to it in real life. Keep up the good work Lewis!

Amazing work, it's cool seeing a good re-creation of my local park. Some of the areas like inside the the Alton Tower walls at the castle and the whole entrance way is almost life like. I appreciate that the park couldn't be quite accurate and had your own interpretation at parts and think it was well done. A couple of note to Johnny; The park doesn't actually have KFC, McDonald's or Coke Cola places in it any more - that fact there was two KFC's I think was his interpretation of the cafe that's there. Also the ride are just called 'Nemesis' for example, there's no 'The' at the start like you're not called The Johnny lol. The clipping of the trees in the Gardens I think is quite accurate tbh, I love that area just to wonder around in and the footpaths are all overgrown there in a natural sorta way. Some of the things they missed out that I would have liked to see: The section of 'The Corkscrew' defunct roller coaster track that's over the entrance way would have been great. The main feature of the Mine Train coaster was missing as in real life it goes into and along side the Congo River Rapids through the tunnel. I think the walk around area in the Haunted Hollow's could have been added especially with the spooky DLC recently. Then Enterprise in the X-Section I think could have been fitted in easily as you had a bit of room over there (In that same vain I think Oblivion could be improved to be realistic aswell by tweaking some things). Personally I really like Marauder's Mayhem Tea Cups ride in Mutiny Bay which was missing however that area of the park is kinda funky so can understand missing it out. Finally I think it would have been great to re-create 'Duel' as a Dark Ride as it's only an Interactive Dark Ride IRL so could have easily been done. Regardless to my petty complaints that's a great creation and like I said it's so cool for me as it does bring back memory's of going there it's that realistic in places.

This is why you don’t gather stuff off the workshop and call it a recreation. Though these are real life buildings and rides, people still tend to add their own flair to buildings when a piece of a building seems to hard to create. Just a warning next time, create your own stuff when you try and recreate else you risk ending up with a clash of things that look good and things that look terrible just like in this recreation.

this is just MY OPINION so try not to be offended. I am merely comparing to the real thing and understand if it was difficult to recreate this park and everything in it. Firstly, a few things in this recreation were COMPLETELY different. for example T13teen is INTAMIN not B&M. This Runaway mine train was different in EVERY way and Oblivion was recreated badly. also WHY ARE THERE PENCILS near the entrance?! also if this is a recent update/build then there should be SW8 instead of the flume which closed in 2016. rita may have a similar layout but the train for this version is a launched EUROFIGHTER in real though it is a normal launched intamin. Cbeebies Land is also different in EVERY. SINGLE. WAY. everything was poorly made. however the negative stuff aside, the layout of the park was excellent and the gardens were detailed. He put a lot of work into the general aesthetics of the park and really did well with Galactica's portal structure! i also love how he put in different rides inside of the DARK RIDES as it would be impossible to recreate which is understandable. everything else was very well done. yes some things were completely different but he put in excellent detail which transcends the quality of the rides! also i guess it was KINDA cool to have different versions of the rides to some extent. p.s. there were other issues i havent mentioned but a few other good thingd too. I have been to Alton Towers btw and it is my favourite park in the UK.

There was a KFC quite a bit ago, but they took out all the big brands, and put in their own brands, like The burger kitchen in Forbidden Valley, and Mutiny Bay, or as you said, the chicken co. by Oblivion

Layout soo realistic! I live near Staffordshire and have visited loads of times, this is such a good Planet Coaster version. There are additions but it is mostly representative of the real thing! One major thing thats missing, cable cars...I added them to my RCT3 Alton Towers but Planet coaster doesn't seem to have them. Rides are not as representative of the real thing...Rita is different, Smiler is different, Thirteen has that funny curve where you got stuck because it actually takes you into a room with a dead end where the whole coaster and track that its sat on drops all of a sudden vertically, links with new track at the bottom and fires you off again. Run away mine train is way more integrated with river rapids including running through the cave, but its not shown in this park. Flume also not realistic to real thing. You should defiantly go, then do a video review of the real thing!

Where were all the tunnels and leg choppers on nemesis it flies by the fence cutting it close in real life and the last corkscrew is followed by a tunnel and the roll is very large and it has a too much of a premade inversion that it spoils the entire ride. Oblivion was missing a catwalk and the drive tyres were way too long and the drop shot off into a different direction then went straight back into the station and didn’t really have the brake run. Galactica was also jerky and didn’t follow a constant path but veered off. Rita was also going too fast and didn’t have sharp enough banks and the launch was Lsm and used the completely wrong trains. Thirteen was very interesting and I was a bit confused on how he tried to tackle the vertical track drop and the second “lift hill” I can’t really say about the brake run to the tyre launch at the end to get the train back into the station as that couldn’t be done. The smiler started out ok but the first inversion had a sever lack of walls and the lift had no cat walks, the rest of the ride felt ok but very jerky to the second lift hill that propelled the riders too fast around the second drop so the ride was very very rough and the cobra roll was taken too fast the ride also felt very spaced out compared to its real life counter part. The flume didn’t really live up the expectations as the previous longest flume in the world the lack of theming around the second drop was very sad as that was one of the best part of the ride was seeing all the novelty ducks and the theming, I did like the tap though Duel was quite sad as I was expecting a dark ride attraction and a few triggers to act like the ghosts and monsters in the ride irl. The buildings in the park were quite good I was impressed by the layout of the front entrance and tower street and the buildings were very well made but then after that I saw a lack of buildings in certain areas and the buildings and theming felt very lacklustre and bland. The runaway minetrain was also tackled very weirdly and there were a few bits and bobs that felt very out of place that startled me for a second. The layout was done great as the pathing and landscape of AT is very complex I’ve tried to write this as constructive as I can without just judging and leaving so hopefully you can notice this and realise that there is always room for improvement. It might also be me as it’s my home park and I’ve been there over 100 times and I notice every little detail.

One thing you have to do with these recreations is to stop nitpicking the pronounciations as it stops you from seeing the actual recreation fairly. If i brought you the word "Schuylkill" you and the majority of other people would not be able to pronounce it correctly. So I would say get past it and see the recreation fairly and realize... It's still a fucking bad recreation and park.

Yea this is ok but in the grand scheme of things is isnt a great representation of the park half the things added in are just from the workshop to fill in space and dont actually represent the work it takes to make these things it just seems that the creator got the basic layout of the park to planco scale then put blueprints down to fill it in for an actual good recreation of alton towers go over to loakin's channel he has started to make a full recreation and so far has all of x sector, the towers with hex, nemesis, wickerman and has my curious mind working in the spinball wizzer at the time of my commenting this and the comparison between that and this is night and day since hours of work and effort are clear in his...

If you're looking at playing more than just this on it I'd recommend the following: i5 8600K (I have an older version personally) GTX 1050Ti would be fine, but the money saved on the i7 to i5 downgrade I'd use and get a GTX 1060 6GB 8GB RAM is fine especially as RAM has near doubled in price in the past 12 months (I got 16GB RAM 12 months ago for 116 euro, the same RAM config today is 200) For me it was worth focusing on the graphicsard and taking a hit on the processor, but I do get well over 60fps in a non-populated park with a few rides at 1080p resolution and high settings, so should handle a completed park pretty well with guests

Matts Island thanks for the reply. I ended up getting i5 processor, 1050ti and 8gb ram. So far it works great. It had an SSD drive as well which is really nice and fast.

Sadly the log flume is no longer there and the are is being replaced with a new ride code named SW8 (secret weapon 8) which is a wodden coaster it was because of their sponsor imperial leather (a soap brand) that i was designed after is no longer one of their sponsors

With the ride 13 the pause is cause on the ride.you go into a pitch black tunnel and then the track drops down and goes out backwards

Amazingly well done! Only Thirteen is inaccurate in how it works in the second half of the ride, but they certainly did the best they could with the capabilities of the coaster mechanics in the game. In reality, once the train has gone through the forest, you're led to believe you're back in the station (This is the point the ride seemed to stop in this video). SPOILER ALERT IF YOU'VE NOT EXPERIENCE THE REAL ROLLERCOASTER: After a moment's pause, all of the lights go out in the station. Once in darkness, the entire track section, along with the train drops a few feet down connecting with a new hidden underground track. At this point the train is propelled BACKWARDS in total darkness around a few more twists and turns. The ride comes to a halt outside on the surface where the track switches again and the train moves forwards into the real station. If you search on youtube there's an interesting video of how the ride works but with the lights on.
