The Smiler is basically best described as Manchester United specifically in the 23-24 season. Sometimes the squad play amazing and sometimes they bottle the match.

Great tips from hyper Stephen on how to get the best from your day regarding the times and what to ride first. Did Stephen have one too many energy drinks at the start of the day - he was running everywhere. A challenge that I used to do years ago was to ride every row on the Big Dipper at BPB, starting at the front and working towards the back row, all in one day. Only did once because the park was very quiet but the last 3 rides were done in the rain. I wouldn't do it again.

Craig's Man Utd analogy was spot on with the Smiler 😂 As a United fan myself, I also was a big fan of Palace on Sunday. Shame that Arsenal couldn't take advantage though, as they are the best option as winners out of a bad bunch! Great video, liked it a lot. Can't wait to go back in a couple of weeks time for the Nemesis VIP event

I remeber galactica being the hero's dream ride. Then air. I think the roller coasters Restaurant being the Cadbury dream shop. That must of been 20 years ago.

I do feel that it’s a shame you can’t film on the rides. Maybe that could be a topic for a future talk about video around why some parks allow it and the reasons some don’t. Surely it would be better to allow it safely than than the sneaky ways some people do it.

I think it just depends on how windy it is, when I went it was quite windy so it wasn’t open but was open next day so I’d say check the weather forecast and hope for the best

And as mentioned, they love to run the hard poly wheels, quicker but harsh if left in one spot for a while. Then the wheels love to continue to destroy themselves flat

I hope the Nemesis Reborn name only lasts a few years, it's so cheesy and takes away from the impact of just having "Nemesis". I wish they just called "The Curse at Alton Manor", "Alton Manor" again it just has more impact. What are they going to do next? Remodel Oblivion and rename it "Oblivion The Black Hole" as some nod to the Black Hole..... The names are better when they're short.

See I'd make the Galactica end the entrance to the park, by doing that you free up so much of the park and can ditch the Monorail too. Alton Towers wastes so much space just to have the Towers in view as you come in and I do not think it's worth it. People would rather a much better park than a view and besides it's not like the view would go, you just have to wait to see it. Though I also think Towers needs that cross valley coaster, they need to do something giant and crazy to excite people again. One day they'll get a council that approves it... And if not bribe someone, that's how politics works.
