I went on last Tuesday and the board said 70 mins and the queue line was all the way round the very top under the lift hill so a very long line and it took about 50 mins they smash them trains out for me it's a popular ride 👍🏼

I wouldn’t worry. Go to Forbidden Valley first, take the Skyride to Dark Forest after. Download the app and get to the rides with the lowest queues 😁

Hey, I’m going tmrw any quit tips? E.g for skipping long queues or best rides to go on Also what is the application you are using on ur phone for queue times - can I get that too??

Queue Tips, I'd say is to go to the forbidden valley and ride nemesis and galactica as your first rides instead of smiler and wickerman. Ride wickerman at lunchtime, and for smiler, If you can, use single ride queues, they save so much time.

I'd either start with Dark Forest (where Thirteen and Rita are), or Forbidden Valley (where Nemesis and Galactica are). If you go to one, I would then go to the other after (you can take the Skyride between the two locations). I'd then check the App and go to whatever is on the lowest queue. Then head to Wickerman either at 12:00 or 13:00 (depending on what the queue is on. I'd personally say it's worth a 50-minute plus queue. I'd also look at other rides as well as the Roller Coasters. You don't need to ride just Roller Coasters to have a great time at Alton Towers.

Went on Monday, complete rip off. Way too many people in the park and 2hr wait for a ride on smiler was ridiculous. Got on 3 rides all day and the amount of coaches in the car park ,just showed how iver subscribed the park was. I wouldn't give them another quid and they should be limiting the numbers of visitors to give people paying good money a chance to get on some rides. Blackpool is way better value and the tickets are about the same price.

Sorry to hear that you had a bad expierence 😔 I remember waiting nearly 3 hours for the Smiler once, it wasn't fun. Alton Towers have limited the number of guests entering the park for the 2022 Season. But I'm not sure if that number was increased due to the busy summer period.
