They're both really down-to-earth dudes, good stuff.

"I think they're great at what they do" referring to The 1975. What a good opinion. A lot of people are thrown off by the pop sound but no one understands how intricate the musicianship on that record is.

I love Aaron and Spencer, but for two guys who make such passionate and unique music, you'd expect a much more interesting answer out of them than just listing the biggest alternative bands right now (The 1975, The Neighbourhood, Twenty One Pilots.)
@pharaohbhang11727 жыл бұрын
rocket83cs They were asked what they're currently listening to and they answered. Would you prefer they give some bullshit contrived answer? This is also with AP, whose fanbase is a bunch of fangirls who don't know a thing about music outside of those shitty, poppy bands they mentioned such as TOP and 1975. I was happy to hear them say old TBS and Saosin.

Its so cool when a band I like likes another band that I like (by that I mean i like tøp and Underoath, and now I have learned that Underoath are tøp fans) also I had no idea Aaron and josh were friends that’s even cooler

I noticed a change in him too. Not one that bothers me per se but I just don't find myself thinking 'Yes! I completely agree.' when listening to him speak anymore. He seems to have a lot more confidence now, which I can respect. Good for him. I guess I got older and more opinionated as well.

There is an honesty that comes from not having to filter yourself in an interview. I like to see a man who wears his flaws unapologetically. I like Aaron MORE because of this.
@BrandonChaunceyOfficial8 жыл бұрын
right, but it's still a weird dichotomy considering he was trying to pastor a church in new york and just got done going around preaching all over the world last year or a couple years ago.
@PBHF208 жыл бұрын
+Brandon Noneya I don't know. Personally I find it more relatable. I'm a part of the blue collar world, and this is the common vernacular; makes me feel like I'm less of a failure to see someone that people place on a pedestal with 'faults of his own'. Additionally, I don't think one's reputation should hinge on whether or not you toss around the occasional curse word; how fragile is that?
