I'm definitely looking forward to see what comes out of Timesplitters Red Letter Day The animations in Timesplitters are a great example of handcrafted, smooth stylized animation. I think most video game cutscenes from the early to mid 2000s are charming, since it's the era before motion capture really started to take over in video games - but that series in particular stands out. It ran at 60 FPS even on the original Xbox, and they used that framerate to their advantage while animating everything. The final result was smooth and bouncy in a good way, which I found appealing. So my question to you is what framerate do you want the film to be viewed in? 60 FPS is my assumption, but It'd make sense if it's 24/30 fps with motion blur, since that looks smooth and it's the more cinematic route. For the most part people avoid rendering movies at 60 FPS, but when video games are thrown into the equation I think it's genuinely worth considering. Congrats on the milestone! I wish I knew more about Blender so I could offer you help - but all I can really do it offer you some motivation

Thanks for asking! TimeSplitters Red Letter Day will run at 24 frames a second and will use motion blur with fluctuating shutter speeds for action scenes. I'm trying to go for a look that is similar to the Meet The Team videos, but also other animated movies in general, which is why I won't be pushing 60FPS as the video games do. The best example of the look I want to go with is my latest animation "Spy's Rally", though it can likely change during development!

Congratulations on 10k man. You deserve a hell of a lot more subscribers obviously. But still, congrats man. I actually found out about your channel with the Kilometer video. Although I really started following it through the Chargin' Fool video. I'm pretty excited what you have store for your film Time splitters: Red Letter Day. Hopefully the making of this film won't break your mind. Keep up the good shit!
