especially a job like Nursing. I don't get the haters who say she ran during a weak showing that year. Who cares, she still finished 2nd in an Elite Marathon race.

@@sanansa4567 I think it also helps she didn't have kids, just a few pets. But nursing is TOUGH.

Sarah is the epitome of discipline, dedication, and incredible work ethics! Not just her running career and what that entails, but also being a certified registered nurse anesthetist on top of that, is absolutely no joke! I would love to see Sarah win tomorrow's race!

This is an amazing story, which highlights that not only those trained by the Oregon Project, those training in Ethiopia, or those who are sponsored by top companies can achieve their dreams. You make 9 to 5 kinda people who love running have hope! Thank you for that! And best of luck tomorrow!

You are gonna make me cry, I miss Tucson so much and it seems to have become so much more bike and runner friendly. Oh well, moving to Colorado next week so close! Super congratz tho! I had another friend, also a nurse, run the same race, she's mostly NICU and Speech pathology. She was injured though and could not finish. :(

I was about to say that training while exhausted from a full day of being on her feet at work may have given her leg up over the pros who get to take a midday nap everyday. But then she said it. It probably helps that she's so young though.

I want to know who are the 9 people with such a sad life they would give this woman a thumbs down. Great story and great editing to put it together. I am with her on the running after work when you are really beat. I ran it in 18' and it was pretty nasty especially at the end when you stopped moving.

Sarah, what you do every day at the hospital is what matters. Running last year brought you fame, but what you do at work is most worthwhile!

Hi there, I am getting in touch from The Running Channel as we are putting together a second round up video of great Running Documentaries/films. (Link to our first round up: kzbin.info/www/bejne/iJKuco2nfrhsfq8) We really enjoyed this film and would potentially love to feature it in our video. Would it be ok for us to use some footage from this film? We would just use short clips (up to 30 seconds) from the film and would link to the film in the description box. My email is sarah@therunningchannel.com if you need any more information or have any questions. Thank you!
