Alty were the only side playing to win and it just wouldnt happen. That was a fantastic wycombe side and they were terrified of us. The longer it went on the easier it became for wycombe to counter attack wih confidence. 40 mins to go and wycombe start running the ball into the corner...

The English FA should invite all Welsh Premier sides and a selection of Southern Scottish sides into the FA Trophy. It would be fun, and would create cross border banter. It would be great to have games between teams of the same standard. Welsh football would benefit to play decent sized non league clubs from England. So that would improve their European performances. I say cross border cups on top of domestic and European football is the way to go. I do not support a British League. The Scots already allow Welsh, Irish, and English sides in the Scottish Challenge Cup. So Uefa would allow this. Travel would not be too tough when you consider Welsh clubs travel to Eastern Europe in European games.
