Vasari O Not related to your comment but since you are on top I point out some things @ASX. The gagged host is not Peter Abernathy but a human called James Delos, founder of the Delos company. At 30 seconds in the trailer we see light and dark bars in the background. This is a hint for us viewers. A reddit user found out it was binary and actually a hidden IP address which goes to a website called delosdestinations, and there it is hinted that 6 parks exist (among other things). Ghost wandered right over from Westerosworld, which Delos developed before they began work on Eastworld and Game of Thrones as we've seen it is the park storyline being played out. Some characters like Beric Dondarrion and Jon are clearly hosts as they be been "revived" to continue the narrative. Westerosworld hosts have yet to gain sentience... except for Jon's wolf Ghost, who found his way into Westworld. The Ghost Nation tribe formed around Ghost's presence, seeing him as a deity of sorts that is a harbinger of doom and death, hence why he's seen at the scene of massacres. I'm buying all of the tinfoil, boys and girls.

I believe that is James Delos, founder of Delos Inc, not Abernathy. From a distance, flailing in a chair, they do look alike. I'm guessing the guards are trying to patch up some painful wounds. ..and the gag is on him so as to not attract hosts.

From what I understand, a lot of the footage is exclusive to this trailer only and won't actually be seen in season 2. So it's possible you may be extrapolating something that is merely meant to be an artistic choice.

Problem is that BSG fundamentally was a series with no there there. They had a plan was a catchphrase. The creator of BSG simply made episodes that seemed cool with no substantive continuity.
