A nice job on the mould making and casting. all you need now is the rest of the boat

turned out great - I would not let something like that leave the shop without my initials hammered into it

if there is a oment in casting I love - is when the aluminum popps and looks like a scene from Terminator :) All jokes aside - another great video, am actually thinking of casting one of those for my fishing boat. Thanks!

Hi thank you very much for your comment it really motivates me to create more videos. The aluminum boat cleat can be fully functional if mounted to a fishing boat indeed, thanks again for your comment ;-)

Great show, my engineering teacher should teach how to do it if I was in school.

Same here, I wish my teacher would teach this when I was in school, more interesting then math ;-)

Thanks for your very clear video. May I ask what grade of aluminium you used for the cleat? (or what item the aluminium was sourced from). Many thanks

You need screw holes in a boat cleat. How do you cast something with holes in it? You might want to explain that in your next video.
@citocinax9 жыл бұрын
野口仁志 I guess it is much easier to drill the holes after all than trying to create them during the casting. It's aluminium, not that hard to drill.

True, with a threading set is very simple to create the bolt connection after the casting.
