Hey there Bill , Little off topic but I watch your vids and I especially love your MTM suit videos, I recently got my Full canvas MTM DB suit from Black Lapel and wow dude….couldn’t be happier, I remember you said you were going to review them. I highly doubt you will be disappointed.

They are still on the list. I’ve got another review coming up very soon with Sene. All of their clothes instead of just a suit. I’ve got a second itailor one. I had a few people swear by them and others say theirs was as bad as mine. So I need a tie breaker. And then a 700ish and 1100ish suits from suit supply. And then woodies suits from a Kickstarter. I’m hoping to get to Black Lapel by the end of the year.

I need to travel overseas and probably the aluminum is a better choice for durability. However, the polycarbonate is a better choice from the perspective of weight. (souvenirs galore!). I haven't made up my mind, yet.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND MVST!!! I bought over $1300 (2x TREK large & 2x Carry-on). I had a recent trip to San Jose, CA from RDU (domestic) and the interior lining of the carry-on had already separated from the body. I can only imagine what would happen if I took it internationally. I messaged MVST Select on October 6 and over a month later, there was no update on my claim after receiving multiple emails claiming they were "actively working" on it. I had high hopes that this would have been my last set but now, I wished to have invested in a known manufacturer like Samsonite which I had and with multiple trips internationally still in one piece.

Wow. That sucks. I’m sorry to hear that. My brother and I both have a set. I haven’t had any issues with them. Has anyone else had issues?

@@TheDadBod I'm pretty disappointed in the lack of update from MVST and pretty discouraged that a month later, the luggage is still defective, and no sight of getting it resolved any time soon :(

@@doesntmatter3779 I would never buy from MVST ever again. I’m sticking to my trusted brand (Samsonite). Heck even the cheapest luggage I bought from Japan last June which traveled across multiple continents already outlasted this brand. :/

Hey Bill how is it holding up long term? I want to get the black aluminum also but I’m worried it’s a plant over the classic silver aluminum. Do scratches show a different base color? Which color hides scratches best?

Can’t say too long term. Worked great for Germany, Mexico, London, and a few work trips. Not too many scratches so far. I like the navy and black.

I’ve got an itailor followup video coming soon. The suit was horrible that I got from them but people said they got good suit from them so I ordered a couple more to try. And I have one for gatsby shoes coming soon. Supposedly affordable and stylish shoes. Waiting for them to arrive. Im doing a video showing two price points for suits for suit supply suits. And woodies travel tech suits once the Kickstarter finishes.

I’ve seen a lot of comments saying the same thing. I guess I got lucky when I ordered. I bought my set. My brother. And my dad a set. No issues. But I’m seeing lots of comments with issues.
