Cambridge Muslim College alumnus Imam Ghulam Moyhuddin has been the Head Imam at Ashton Central Mosque since 2012, supervising 2 imams and 7 madrasah staff, whilst serving a community of 3,000 congregants.
The Diploma Programme modules British Islam, Religious Pluralism, Counselling and Community Engagement were instrumental in helping him reinvigorate and lead a stagnant community towards active engagement and inclusivity.

This mosque is like a dream to every young Muslim generation living in the West; it covers all the demand that the youth need from the English speaking Imam to the use of Technology and well education of the society's need. Alhamdulillah; I pray all the other mosques follows the footsteps, It was always in my mind that Projectors should be used in the Kutbahs but here we are. Alhamdulillah. A very good Bi'dah

Salaam Alaykom. I spent some years in Manchester and then moved to Cambridge and have the experience of praying both in Ashton Mosque and Cambridge Central Mosque. Ashton mosque is such a spiritual place and I enjoyed praying there, particularly I remember the amazing Jumaahs I attended. Imam Jafar's khutbaas were informative and well prepared. I should mention that there was another Imam as well who was not able to deliver English khutbaa and his khutbbas were just in Urdu but he had such a beautiful and mesmerizing voice. I also want to thank both Imam Sayyad and Imam Ali in Cambridge Central Mosque and tell that I really miss the experience of attending the mosque in these Corona outbreak days. May Allah allow us to restart our manasik again soon inshaAllah. Maa'ssalam.
