try a large fridge magnet to cover whole and slide it for more or less air. I use one on my blower motor to power a coal forge to restrict the air. just my 2 cents. Thank you for you're ideas as well.

My sand blast cabinet the hose to the dust collector was filling up with sand and I had to make a baffle like that for the other end.

Seems to me that it would be easier to install the baffle as you did, seal it, and use it as designed for the vacuum. Then take the large cover disc for the back, and experiment with pressure by simply drilling small holes in it until the appropriate pressure for your individual vacuum system is reached. No modification to the back baffle cover.

Out of all the modifications, I don't get why swapping the intake/exhaust does anything. I think that the only reason that you've given in the videos is that it makes the intake smaller but you still have to play with regulating the flow down there, so I don't see why the bigger opening with a regulator/partial cover won't work. Heck, they supply the cabinet with a block-off for the rear port, which you can turn into a regulator/restriction to the the lower pressure in the cabinet. With the extra baffle like this you will have the flow diagonally across the cabinet no matter which one you hook up to the vacuum and you will still be naturally "spraying" the blast media into the back corner between the 2 naturally working on most things. So really, what's the advantage of swapping the intake and exhaust?
