I was a UT student from 79 to 83. Loved going out to listen to Alvin! I recall some crazy nights at the Soap Creek Saloon with Alvin jamming on that fiddle. Great times.

I got to Austin in '76 ... and was so very glad to be part of the music scene, especially my first 15 years. I don't know where all the tapes ended up... we shot some incredible concerts at Dixie's

I was bartender, cable grip, pool shooter, dominoe player and other tasks at Dixies, Barb Roseman and I got on stage drunk to assist Butch with one of his songs, Opening shot at Marcia Balls shoot was her and I shooting pool.
