He died a year ago...Zach has been a gift from heaven to me - reliving time with my dad and thinking about nights spent around a dining room table playing the greats - Haggard, Twitty, Gene Watson. 😂😂Zach’s music career will surpass both of those artists you mentioned. Sit back and watch as this kid climbs to the top playing country music songs that sound like country music is supposed to. Merle, Waylon, Willie George and the rest of the greatest country musicians to ever perform would be proud of Zach’s efforts to restore country music. Chris Stapleton and Cody Johnson are two more current greats that are keeping it real with country music. With folks like Post Malone, Jelly Roll, Shaboozey, Taylor Swift and Beyoncé all over “country radio,” country music just ain’t country anymore. I will admit I prefer Morgan’s voice over Luke Combs, but that’s just my opinion. Neither of those two sound as good live as Zach does.
