Everytime I watch him and think about him gone, I just can't keep from crying sometimes.

The band is almost entirely made up of Kokomo members. There's a video of them here on the channel.

Shows what a great guitarist, musician, and artist Alvin Lee was, what the hell is wrong with the R&R hall of fame.

Big Alvin fan, but TYA will always be his best band. Should of never broke then up. 1975 was one of TYA`s best tours.

TYA was his band and Alvin Lee & Co was a different alternative or maybe a hobby, which I particularly love. They didn't get in the way or compete with each other. I see no point in emphasizing that TYA was the best. See the history of one and the lack of history of the other...it is self explanatory. Just enjoy the music and be grateful he made it too.

Not my favourite era of Alvin, but great to see for the first time. Have you caught the Midnight Special every Saturday morning? Alvin playing with Mylon Lefevre and Boz Burrell etc.

Why wasn't the high-speed guitar run shown in the video? The dance of the 3 girls was completely out of place here. Good music but chaotic video editing. I have the live LP at home. Which clown has not shown this-high speed run in the video? Completely wrong. I have heard and seen Alvin live with TYA and TYL on numerous occasions in the 1980 an 1990er.

Yes, most likely this video was not from the same day the album was recorded. As for the 3 girls, they are two men and a woman, the great singer Dyan Birch, recently deceased. The band he's with was all members of the funk and soul band, Kokomo...maybe that's why their dancing is out of place. After all, dancing to rock and roll is not easy because it is a hard rhythm, unlike funk and soul. Man, what a complaint. You look older than me lol
