1973, Tarrant County Convention Center, 2nd row, stage center. Robin Trower opened, followed by King Crimson and TYA as the headliner. When TYA started playing, people rushed the stage & aisles to dance. Fort Worth's Finest were trying to stop them & it was getting out of hand. Alvin stopped playing & shouted "Stop that, you pigs!". Oh, Lord, they gonna take Alvin to JPS (county hospital). Nope, cops calmed down, & everybody got down!

This is the tour he did in the US around 1995-96. That is Gerry McAvoy on bass and Brendan O'Neil on drums. They were in Nine Below Zero with Dennis Greeves at the time . They were the opening band, then they would Play a set with Alvin. I was Alvin's guitar tech for that tour. I'm the dude running across the stage reseting everything for the encore, Choo Choo Mama.
