Growing up in the 80s, EVH was my favorite player. Pretty much the only one I listened to. Yeah I liked other players like Brad Gillis, George Lynch, Warren DeMartini, Randy Rhoads......but Eddie was still my favorite. UNTIL I hear Wait on the radio in 1988. Vito's style just got me. People label him an EVH clone because he did tapping. But pretty much every player was doing that after Eddie brought it into the limelight. Vito just did it best and that's why he gets singled out. His solos are phenomenal. I think of it like this: Other players fabricate their solos. Vito DESIGNS his. I guess you could say he's a guitarchitect.

Oh man, Vitto Bratta....insanely talented. That opening riff haunts my ears with melodic delight. What a genuine genius. The WAIT solo is nothing short of melodic and creative perfection along with Little Fighter solo Vito's legacy is mythical....he's like if someone saw and heard a Unicorn once.......then poof....gone. These records are our only proof he existed and played like this.

I think I was just looking for some alternative type of metal music more melodic and with more consciously written lyrics and BOOM white lion appeared and I bought a guitar and as they say the rest is history x'D !!! :P !

Bro, I am relatively new to your videos and channel, but it is my favourite solo teaching channel by far! I have learnt a bunch of your "5 of the best......solos". My clear favourite is the CC.Deville one LifeGoes On - my favourite solo I've learnt in ages...probaboy since I learnt he end "super ballad" part of Rocket Queen, Gn'R - a could years back! Both just so unabashedly melodic,xI love it! The format just works so well...you get to hear it and see it aswell as follow the tab along with it. And importantly, it's concise, not getting bogged down in 25 minute lectures, verbally explaining every note kind of like a "verbal tab". Those video formats are just a guarantee to make your eyes glaze over! Anyway, I just wanted to make a small suggestion. I have trouble reading the tabs - it's so small! It could be that it's because I'm on a 7" tablet, or perhaps my eyesight is failing me in my old age...?🤷 I mean, I don't think so - I've never worn glasses, and Ive not had any other problems seeing everything else clearly..so... You playing is plenty big, I think you could afford to shrink the video of you playing some,just to make way for a larger tab. Also... something I've thought of doing if I ever made my own guitar teaching videos..is to invert the image, so that is appear to be left handed. For some reason I find it is sooo much easier to follow a mirror image of your guitar tutor, than an actual opposite. If that makes any sense to you at all...?!🤷 But that's not a criticism, it's just a suggestion. Your videos are great without it. Bigger tabs though - hat IS a teeny criticism. I hope you do enlarge them, thank you very much 🙏.
