Deejay has done Man in the Mirror, Bang, Butter, You're My Best Friend with VoicePlay. He was recently on The Voice. He didn't make it far enough in many peoples opinion, mine included. As others noted, he toured with Hamilton, on The Angelica Tour. It ended this summer is Puerto Rico. He performed as 5 principal roles, Hamilton, Aaron Burr, Hercules Mulligan, John Laurens, and Lafayette. Aaron Burr was his favorite. He recently had 2 Christmas shows in Florida. I was able to attend the St Pete show. He had Christmas music, show tunes, his own personal music, and sang Ordinary People by John Legend (his coach on The Voice).

Geoff didn't do the arabesque when they performed it live (it hurts his back) but did the hair poof gesture instead. He always updated the lyrics of one verse. DeeJay was touring with Hamilton here. In a previous year, Eli wanted tickets to The Last Jedi. You're right -- a Geoff arrangement will push Layne more, and Layne's arrangements push Geoff's limits more. They've been friends since middle school and still act like adolescent boys sometimes.

Layne's intros and comments are as character Dave Seville, the owner?keeper?parent of the chipmunks, who was always there from their origin in 1958. I hope VoicePlay does the Chipmunks' The Witch Doctor sometime, maybe for Halloween.

Only Voiceplay could have made me love this song. I was around when it came out and all things Chipmunky make me cringe. This is absolutely brilliant. Geoff's arrangement. They've done it for Disney several times for Mickey's Christmas Party. They have always added topical lines (Deejay is touring with Hamilton). The Tinkerbell line is always there, but I don't think Geoff always does the arabesque when he sings it. Deejay has been with them several times. My favorite collaboration with them is Bang!, a song about adulting.

DeeJay is/was touring in Hamilton, hence the reference to it, he also appears with VP in a number of other videos, Bang!, Butter, You're My Best Friend, Man in the MIrror , and In My Room. And you can always see who did what in the credits below the title in the More section. :) Which often have some fun comments. Usually from Geoff who has the dry witty humour.

I still have the original album the Chipmunks released in 1962. Year I was born. I remember Dave Seville screaming at Alvin all the time. So much fun! Did you catch the Hamilton reference? Deejay Young was in Hamilton on Broadway and he's done a number of songs with VoicePlay.

Ialways find it funny that the lyrics says Alvin, stop riffing! And then Deejay start riffing like only he can. In thecstart when Cesar stands back by the tree, he is filming on the phone,and that comes out in the BTS. And the scene when Layne/Dave is standing with a sheet of paper in his hand, Geoff is laying on the floor, between the legs of Layne to hand him the paper. Hilarious😂

Layne actually did a TikTok of this with Helium! DeeJay was on the Broadway tour of Hamilton and was in Orlando so VP took advantage of it. Take a look at VP's In My Room (Beach Boys), DeeJay is the guest for that one too. He's also in Man in the Mirror (Michael Jackson) for J None's hello to the US Navy and temporarily bye to VoicePlay.

They were in Orlando when this was filmed. He's a great addition for the group. Well. Let's face it. Everyone is 😊. As far as the sleigh bells. Layne showed us Patreons in their live monthly chat how he did it. It actually looks very easy but that's just Layne making it look that way 😂.
