Yes, you’re correct, the voice of the Grinch is Eli’s. They refuse to say who’s behind the costume though, but it’s Eli’s voice.

Yes, the Grinch (and their 'Whoville' makeup) was provided by an Orlando-based company that does a lot of work for film,TV - and theme parks - Makeup And Creative Arts, LLC...

Love them! They always say they are an acapella group with their own special brand if dumb 😆. They have been fun for years and they love doing their own thing and do it WELL. Their arrangements are also top notch.

Adriana is amazing. And what is truly great is that she is so young and appearing with Voiceplay. They have a true talent for appreciating and not hesitating to hand the lead to other artists. React to or just watch for yourselves "Just Sing". But watch it with captions ON! It is a great intro to all the fantastic artists that they have collaborated with (co-conspirators?) Plus great snarky comments in the captions....and a surprise.... (edited for terrible grammar)

If you listen to the song in the original cartoon, you'll hear how much Geoff's version here resembles that singer, Thurl Ravenscroft. Geoff has done several covers of his songs, like "The Headless Horseman" and "Saddle Up." I believe Thurl is a major inspiration for Geoff, but if nothing else, he certainly admires him. Oh, and no one knows who played The Grinch in this video...but Voiceplay have some Disney connections.

Great reaction as always. Adriana was invited to do a video with them for her 15th birthday that was "The Frozen 2 Medley", she was also in the first Cesar guest appearance "We're Good" and later "Good For You" and their newest one "Mean Girls Jingle Bell Rock" also several of their especially fun minis/shorts. This version of Mr Grinch is more reminiscent of the animated movie where Thurl Ravenscroft performed it. He was a singer that made Disney records. Geoff has covered a few of his songs as well on his solo channel "The Headless Horseman" and "Saddle Up" spring to mind... #Voiceplay

Another cool comparison is Voiceplay and PTX they both did 'Creep'! I would suggest watching all of the performances from the Masked Singer that PTX competed in (one of their songs was Creep) and they were unmasked when they got voted off and re performed Creep, as well as doing the official vocalizer for 'Creep'

Adriana was 16 when they did this. Her parents sang with Geoff and Kathy in the past. (I believe when they did professional caroling gigs.)

In 2019 Voiceplay sent a video to Adriana on her 15th birthday inviting her to collaborate with them. Of course she accepted. The first video they did was the Frozen 2 Medley. She has done several videos with them since including some shorts. Videos...Good 4 U. We're Good. Jingle Bell Rock. Shorts...Streaming App Sound Effects. Bob's Burgers Theme. Stranger Things. Addams Family. Minecraft Theme.

Hey fellow Voiceplayas, does anyone know why Eli sings "More rapid than LEGALS, his coursers they came?" I KNOW I'm hearing an "L" and the Spotify lyric shower confirmed that is indeed what he's singing. I know in the original "Twas' The Night Before Christmas" it's "eagles." Is this some kind of "in jokes" for VP?

Stan, that lime green Santa hat is epic! If you watch "We're Good" you'll see Adriana again, as well as Cesar's first appearance with Voiceplay. Because Cesar and Omar are roommates and best friends, I have to wonder if Omar played any part in his best bud being introduced to the guys. If so, one more reason to appreciate Omar! Sorry for all the comments btw.

There is a fun rebuttal Grinch song made by the fantastic bass singer Elliott Robinson ( former of Home Free, before Tim Faust) on his solo channel. Not So Mean A Grinch. A gorgeous voice and a hilarious video. Well worth checking out.

I was hoping y'all would react to this one. I like Pentatonix' version, too. This is more humorous. Eli did the voice of the Grinch in this video; he does voice work outside of Voiceplay. I think the voice of the Santa in "Oogie Boogie" was done by Pasquale Palazzolo, IIRC.
