I think the post race analysis can be more nuanced than on the fly and give a better understanding of race dynamics. I prefer it.

So many interesting things in your videos. Depending on the time of year and everyone's fitness, the tactics change quite a bit. I will say that I think attempting to narrate from the bike isn't necessary and probably only serves to use much needed oxygen. Your post race narration is probably the best on KZbin, so you know what they say, if it's not broke, don't fix it.

Hey . It’s me in the black (Timmy)! 10:53 looked so cool Yeah the sprinters fk’d up . Especially me when I chose to follow Ryan’s wheel 14:23 instead of Greg who noticed our hesitation . Might as well empty the tank at that point and lead whoever I can D;

Congrats to Greg! All those powerful digs one after another and they still couldn’t catch him. Those last few sprints from the guys looked so sweet. As a high end guy myself, I love seeing a well-executed sprint at the end of a race

Im eventually going to get a road cycling bike. But rght now I'm just MTB on basically cross country trails in Oklahoma. So all I really know of cycling is what I see and learn in your, and a few others, videos. But, this video is the first time I've been able to visualize the drafts cyclists use during their races. Seeing and hearing the real time reactions really linked it all together. The way you would clearly break out of a segment of air. The sound of the tires on the road to indicate speed, how much effort you were adding for that speed, at which points, and why. The dual camera angles to show when you were on point or in the tow. With your explanations on comments heard during the race and thought processes of where your focusing next. Thank you. I definitely appreciate the better audio combined with your commentary Sir.

I love you trying new things and don't want to discourage attempts at channel growth but your post race commentary rules so hard and I don't know if the live race commentary is necessary based on this vid. Absolutely love your content brother

Interesting to watch the guys put out big power from behind them - seeing the one Terum rider’s elbows stick out into the wind constantly - good reminder how form really matters over the length of a crit. Why waste energy over easily manageable aero factors.

If anybody watching this didn't see when Dan Holloway was able to have a fireside chat in the middle of the Pro race at The Hill - Gateway Cup while wearing a heavy backpack with transmission equipment, you need to watch that. It's very educational and funny too.

Always like your content and post ride/race analysis. First rate. Now, regarding the camera view.... not a fan of the outstretched arm view. Helmet cams offer a much better view of the overall race and that in turn provides better context to your decisions during the race. With the body cam, you only see butts :)

This question betrays my inexperience, but how are teams important? This video repeatedly stressed how certain racers would decide “I don’t need to chase the breakaway, because I already have a teammate in it.” If the race ends, and only one of the members of a team finished in the breakaway, what’s in it for the members that finished later? Struggling to understand how team dynamics are rewarded in what seems to me like an individual sport. The guesses I have so far, either it’s a pride thing for saying you helped that one member win, or there’s some aspect of scoring that rewards team wins regardless of individual finishes. Tried to find a video in your upload history that touched on this but nothing turned up.
