Can confirm. Briefly met Molly and Kerri last month in Austin. Molly was nice, and Kerri was possibly one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. They truly deserve the success they’ve worked so hard for.

Kerri…you are so very! I would love nothing more than to have a looooong conversation with her in front of a fireplace with a (possibly many) bottle of wine. Everything they mention in the video, about their music, I find to be true. Especially the idea of identifying a specific time that it is being created. Many songs could be straight out of shoegaze’s earliest appearance in the 80’s, or during the second wave in the early 90’s. I just love that about Alvvays, and so far, not only have I not tired of any song or record, but I have just accepted that sometimes putting an Alvvays record on repeat is the right thing to do!
