I think that all the members of EXO planned this. They are together. The decided to let CBX take te lead because Baekhyun took the lead and was apparently willing to take the risk. It does not matter what happens at the end, Baekhyun is going to be OK. Chen and Minseok have not been getting too much work since they did their military service. CBX made MS a lot of money and they could do well outside of that company. If CBX wins the other EXO members also win. If they fail, it will be te end of EXO as we knew them but they members will be fine. They are talented, experience artist with a good track record as money makers.

This is an appeal to all international exols- Please believe EXO and EXO only. SM has faced multiple lawsuits from many of it's artists in the past and that should tell you everything you need to know about what kind of company SM is. They have already started their mediaplay by flooding articles maligning CBX's reputation and questioning their interests. Kexols are fickle-minded fans and haven't shown any explicit suport yet to them. Pann and other korean forums are filling with SM's people writing and upvoting articles against CBX. DO NOT FALL FOR IT. We have to stay united as a fandom and stand by CBX's and all of EXO's side, because there is no way CBX took this step w/o discussing it with the rest of the EXOs. Please trust them. We are all they have in this battle against SM.

I think there are reasons why all of them are not involved in the lawsuit right now but for some reason they had to go ahead and get the process started. I do think they will all eventually be involved in it, there are just different things going on. IE: D.O.’s film is coming out, Exist is coming out, Kai having to enlist with only 8 days notice (which I find extremely fishy, I haven’t heard of that happening to anyone else). These are all reasons why some of them weren’t able to join the lawsuit right now but I trust them and I believe they discussed it amongst themselves and they are doing what is right for them.

SME has a bad history, lacks transparency in their business practices, have people in leadership positions who have demonstrated remarkably poor judgment and temperament. I was appalled at how badly they handled the fiasco earlier this year, and while I was hoping that they at least could be taken at their word to treat their artists and artistic staff well, I was dismayed to discover that the artists followed what was happening through the media, vs being guided through what was happening by their company leadership. This doesn’t seem like a good company to work for, and I hope that the investigation leads to better conditions for the artists and staff who decide to remain and freedom for those who choose to leave. Honestly speaking, if CBX or any EXO member were to leave the agency, EXO would go with them. I'm 100% sure of this. They didn't let go of Lay and of Chen, even under pressure: they're the only group I know that has a member that's been active in his homeland as a soloist for _years_ and is still part of the group. The only other unique kpop group I know is 2PM, who refused to elect a leader after Jay Park left. To this day, both groups are absolute legends and have made huge contribution to the history of Kpop as we know it.
