Brilliant episode Pasacle and Troy .. I really enjoyed the old school "Documentary" feel to this one, like David Attenborough crossed with the Leyland Brothers, but done better .. the absence of 'sensationalist bullcrap' that seems to infect a vast number of KZbin videos these days is also welcome relief. Thanks. Pots. Sydney.

Must agree, the lack of "over the top commentary" is the appeal of Free Range Sailing. Similar to the very early David Attenborough docos in Papua New Guinea before he was tamed by "real doco film makers"

Ok, I have watched all of the videos (I think) and they have helped me weather some times of personal unrest. Thank you for that. I was hoping to see a discussion of the spear guns and other critter catching devices you use. Perhaps I missed that. I will also say that Troy's discussions on mechanical and electrical systems is as close as I have been to considering them in any way interesting.

Congratulations guys, your video quality and shot composition has really become next level. Stunning wildlife shots and editing worthy of a wildlife doco. You have a really great and unique product. Your photography has hit pro level. At 3:19 it is a fantastic shot. In editing, I would cut the back of the head and use the rule of thirds The nose should be at the right third. It is just fantastic how you have grown as storytellers and videographers. Cheers so well done.

Pascale, you might want to add to your food preservation arsenal the "water glassing eggs"- eggs kept at room temperature for months and months. The best explained videos I have seen are from Homesteading Family. She does updates so you can see the eggs cracked opened. She has a farm and lots of kids but you could probably do a 1 gallon version. Getting farm eggs unwashed may be the tricky part. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mIXPlHasq7qdopI

With the shells of the lobster, (can also do it with prawns and crab) after boiling for say 20 mins, crush then as much as possible, then into a blender or puree them as much as possible, then mix a tad of cream and push through a strainer, now you have a soup or stock, mix with chopped lobster and you got the best seafood dip on the planet. You will never go back. It is insane with all shell fish, especially prawns.
