It was AI generated; where a good chunk of people are more comfortable with the works of actual humans right now. There is, of course, concern at AI that will take peoples' place in the art world, as it gathers more and more material to use as reference.

@@binhttn Not defending seleP's previous AI usage, but like... the original image is literally linked in the description and the picture was posted to piapro in 2013, like, WAY before AI art was even a thing, at least not like it is today. I'd say the weird anatomy is just that the original artist was a little inexperienced at the time or intentionally stylized, a lot of older artwork for Vocaloid in the 2010s looks like that
