For stains try peroxide added to a sink of water or washer and for added lift add in baking soda.Will not bleach your items.Had a bunch of blood on delicate blouse,and one black shirt from hospital IV feascos and a RN taught me this amazing stain remover.Try it

I have found with the grand children’s stuffed toys that baby wipes often make them look like new. Also if you use like colored cloths to clean with you will get better results. So white to clean white, black to clean black and so on. I buy only silk ties and usually only handmade silk. My husband wears ties to work so we have quite the revolving tie closet. I just found a new with tags Carhart long sleeve womens shirt in a goodwill in AZ for $3.59 I was so happy and my daughter is the new owner. I like what you are doing with your $20 house remodel. Our house we have always gotten all the parts before we started the work. I have rehabbed houses since I was about 17 years old and we always have a new project going. Afghans are expensive to make. I always like to find the thrift shops that are not goodwill. The church shops and the community thrifts

Question - Do y’all have any carrying costs for the house you’re remolding/flipping? I’m assuming that y’all paid cash for the house so you don’t have a monthly note, is that correct? However are you having to pay insurance every month? I would assume there’s going to be bills for electrical and water and gas etc? I know you’re doing the series about getting stuff for $20. However, if there are other costs each month that have nothing to do with remolding I think it would be a good idea to let people know. That way everybody’s got a very clear idea of what these other costs are when you do this or you are thinking about doing something like this. Unfortunately you’ve got people who watch this and don’t realize there’s much more involved in doing what you’re doing.

I am so jealous that you guys have goodwill bins. There was only one in my state and it was 2 hours away. I made the trip north to it in February only to find out it closed last fall due to not having any workers :( The next closest one is in the next state over and it is 3-1/2 hrs away! Sometimes best way to clean plush is the old way. White bar soap rubbed on a white damp cloth & then wipe the plush down. Set it in the sun to dry.
