To check if you have water leaks, find your water meter and take note of the number. Make sure everything is turned off and come back later and if the number has gone up, water is coming out somewhere.

As someone that does drywall finishing for a living, it’s money well spent to get it done professionally. It definitely requires a certain level of touch, finesse, and skill. A bad taping job can make a brand new house look horrendous

You can pick up a Flo by Moen water sensor and it will alert you via text, phone call, and push notification if it detects any water. This thing is super helpful especially if you aren't there.

I might offer a suggestion for you to think about when titling your real estate flip videos. With a lot of series videos I’ve seen before they may say which episode is currently being watched #1,#2,#3 etc. This would make it easier for people who watch your video to know where they’re at in the series. It would also serve another good purpose for new viewers who come across this video and want to watch the series from the beginning. Just a suggestion as I am not a KZbin series creator but someone who likes to watch series play out on YT. Predominantly on my phone. If you already have a playlist that’s wonderful but YT isn’t super user friendly with navigating to a playlist if in place

Josh, you are the man with your handyman skills. You might (probably) know this already, but here is a tip anyway. Be sure the hot water tank is filled up and all faucets are firmly turned off. Then turn your water on at the meter for a few minutes and turn the faucets on to be sure water is for sure in all the lines. Be sure everything is turned off and go look at the dial in the meter. The arrow should be at zero with no discernable movement. If so, you have no leaks. If it shows any activity at all, then you definitely have a leak somewhere.

I would not want to hang sheetrock myself, but I found, when I helped my uncle patch some holes in his garage, I'm some sort of mudding savant. I always heard how terrible mudding was, but I loved it and I managed to fix some pretty gnarly places so smooth, sanding it afterwards was optional. I joked, however, that my uncle was confusing mudding with cake decorating, because he was frosting the walls!

PEX is a piece of cake to work with. It's head's above dealing with copper, or CPVC. I like copper, but it's the Sweating the connections and cost. Plus, for replacing old waterlines in an existing home, PEX is the way.

Make sure to get some water leak sensors. You can get a pack of them for cheap and worth protecting your investment. I have one under each sink and some under the ridge vents of the home (just in case for leaks). Also you can put them in areas like the hot water heater as well. They are LOUD too. So you will know right away when it goes off.

I hope you get to see this but I just wanted to say how the first video I watched from you in July of 2020 changed my life for the better. After that day I started reselling, finished my first year with 400 sales and Top rated seller. At the time I had no idea what any of that stuff was or that I can even make money doing it. It completely changed my mindset and goals. I never knew anything about selling I just happened to come across your video while looking for something to watch while at work. The video was the one "How I make $42,000 per year selling stuff on Ebay". I am not a full time reseller yet but I will be one day and honestly it is thanks to you and your videos introducing me to something that I felt I was actually good at but I didn't know I was lol I had to take a break from Ebay due to Life happening recently and Just got back to with the same goal in mind.

Harry , be careful with that weed killer , especially with Mose running around . Hopefully it’s not round up as they had a huge class action lawsuit as it causes cancer. Had a friend that swore his dog got cancer from it and he ended up having to put him down .

I did most of our pex for the water lines when we built out house last year. It was so stressful turning on the water. BUT NOTHING HAPPENED! The plumber who had started our stack out put a shut off valve in the wall the was off and we didn't realize it. Luckily I happened to have a photo of where it was so we could open a 1.5" hole to turn it on. Haha but everything turned out okay! Whew! Power was stressful too. My husband ran the wires and I wired all the outlets and switches. One particular double rocker switch for the bathroom lights/fan game me troubles and I had to spend almost an hour trying to figure out how it was wired wrong to fix it.

For people who don't know Buc-ee's is a super huge popular gas station that is like a restaurant/mini shopping center inside lol. The merch is popular because they don't have an official online merch store so the only place you can get it is at the actual gas station which most states don't have one because they have the same requirements as IKEA where you need a certain monster population size in a radius to be considered.
