Not quite. Monty python is fairly forgotten and are obscure in most countries nowadays in the 21st century even though they do have cult followers amongst cinephiles and fans of british cinema. However their legacy in film lives on even if not too much remembers them today.

Still very glad that I (together with my girlfriend) decided in '14 to visit the show in London and make the trip from the Washington DC area. When the original shows and films were released I was a very small boy, but my father was a big fan, so I grew up with these scenes. Never would I have dreamed to see this fantastic guys live. An experience I will never forget in my life...

Jim made the live show happen. Python was in financial difficulty because of someone who worked on life of Brian sued the python for reasons I can't remember. Eric asked Jim is there something they can do, Jims reply was "yeah you're fucked. Unless you do something like a live show to gain audience in to help pay it off" they all agreed immediately and they sold out so quickly they decided to air it as well all around the world. Even in South America

+Colin Monger (twofacetoo) I strongly disagree. He clearly and evidently does give a fuck. I can't for the life of me see how you arrived at that conclusion. Were we watching the same video? Rethink.
