He's primarily a streamer, and makes content thats easily translatable to youtube. He doesn't do anything algorithm heavy, mostly longform content that his current subs really enjoy but don't get pushed to the masses. He makes lots of videos a day and slowly and consistently grows without having to be worried about the "youtube meta," and he's been uploading for longer and more consistently than almost every creator on the platform

NL, you say neve buy the swan, which is exactly the opposite of my post patch strategy. I have been taking the swan, and then reaping the benefits of the extra gold to crush the now majority of people who didn't take the swan. They made the strongest animal stronger by making less people take it.

It might be okay for versus (though I don't personally play it) but given that you can't know in advance whether your opponent will have one heavy hitter or more of a spawn build, it basically becomes complete luck as to whether melon or onion armour would be the better choice. If they were going to add more food, I'd rather it be something with a new effect rather than just a straight upgrade for an existing item.

@@Michael-sh1fb That's the point, though. Right now melon is a "straight upgrade" because garlic is so trash in the late game. "balance" means things should be hard to choose between.

@@JD2jr. it's not literally a straight upgrade though. They do different things. Against a unit with low attack, garlic is technically better, even in the late game (where it is bad). Onion and melon wouldn't be hard to choose between. They'd be impossible to choose between in any kind of objective sense. You would only know if you made the right choice in retrospect. More choice does not necessarily mean more strategy.

I like to look at the sap learning curve as being similar to that of sts. U start out taking just about anything, but as you get better you start only taking the better animals, and when you get better than that you start taking more animals because you learn how to win with a larger variety of animals.

I think the pig is underrated. You are the only person I’ve seen take pig in a while, and I think people don't take because they just looks at the stats/ability. Sure, it looks bad, but people are thinking about it wrong. Pigs are a good way to carry money over into the next round. Say you get 3 pigs in the first 2 rounds, sell them round 3 and you have 16 money to buy tier 2s. Sure, you’ll probably lose those first 2 rounds, but that’s not a big deal, now you have an advantage going forwards.

Peacock was better before the patch. You just had to feed it early and have a Dodo along with it. Garlic + Dodo + Peacock early was just passable. Mid game, it was ok. It takes you where you wanna go. Late game, it got to 50 attack pretty quickly. Now, its early game is so bad that you can't commit to it. And it's only good if you commit.

The swan supporter has logged on-- Been trying to cultivate zane on with some builds post iOS release, but I got to tell ya, whenever I'm feeling low about getting my 4th bacta rat attempt in a row rolled, I just switch over to a quick swan rabbit combo for an instant dopamine hit. The combo is still good as ever, hard not to hit the believer threshold with without some fairly poor shop luck IMO
