Thanks so much for this. This is grandpas favorite song and he doesn’t have much longer left to live. I couldn’t figure out the tab but thanks to the video I was able to learn this song and sing it for him one last time

You are bloody brilliant. I'm a hack on guitar and you are teaching me real technique. Thank you. My ear tells me that the Em after the D...leading into the G at around time 15:20 should be an Am7th not Em. I may be wrong, keep it up

Another quality lesson. Tnx a lot Justin and keep up the good work. For the F# base note on the D chord there is another option. On the 4th fret of the 4th string there's also an F# wich is of course the octave of the F# on the 6th string. I use my pinky to play this but it's quite a stretch so i imagine not everyone can do this. Although i recomend everyone trying it cause it sounds good and can be easier then putting the thumb over.

Hey Justin, nice lesson. Love this tune a lot. I play it with eights downstrokes and 16´s at the last beat. I try to immitate the piano a Little bit. Your chords are easy and I like to use it. The song was written by Mark James direct for Elvis.

Justin, I don't know if you take requests, and you needn't, given how generous you are, but if you were inclined to do a lesson on All Things Must Pass, that would be great. I'm curious to hear your take on some of the chord voicings.

Do you have a tab,? ive wrote half this down with strums chord order, tho the 7 tabs UG are super different but this one sounds way nicer than using chords like A, A/B, D/E G/A, Am7(tho thats just C/G with finger on the G, isint it?)
Awesome video as always? Are you gonna do a gnr song soon?

Hey Phil, just use arpeggios using top 3 strings P I M and get your bass notes from your alternating thumb and sing. Sooner or later you will recognize melody notes from your singing and just emphasize the melody making note from your singing to one of the notes you are holding down. It will be there just listen carefully. Sounds kind of involved but you will grow quickly as a musician by taking some effort as opposed to being spoonfed. Buy Justin's Beginning guitar method. It is the best method that I have ever seen in many decades and he covers everything to grow quickly. Twenty bucks well spent. Yat-ta-hay? You will probably go through the thing in two or three months. I would still follow it even if you think that you are more advanced. Plus you will pick up a bunch of repertoire.

don't take this wrong , or do , but there is no such thing as beginner , easy , simple or whatever it's all controlled noised , some of the most beautiful is not what the fingers are doing but what the heart is doing and sometimes what the the face or tongue is doing or even what the tears are doing , please , it just seems to belittle it by saying beginning or simple or beginner ,foundation is the same as the roof .............
