Really agree. I've now watched almost 80* covers and stage performances of someone singing this song. And I haven't found a single such balanced presentation on KZbin in three days! When will Lucy Thomas publish hers - that would be interesting to have! Connie has the added advantage of playing the piano herself as well as moving the camera around - things that Lucy doesn't use in her own shoots. I want to add to all this that performers like them, who give their whole soul to a song - they immerse themselves in the song and it shows in their facial expressions, head movements and voice use (and in a hands-free situation, also in the hands-emphasis gestures) - they make every song like this EVEN more beautiful. *Update: As of 05/13/23, I already have 398 videos in my playlist, each singing "Always On My Mind" and still Connie Talbot is the best. Been following Connie Talbot since BGT when, at six, she stood fearlessly on the stage with no teeth (well she did have some) singing Over the Rainbow. She sang many songs as a child that I loved and often listen to. I especially liked many of her songs when she was about twelve. And then she grew up and continued to sing so beautifully. But I think this: “Always On My Mind” may be the best song she has ever done. Stunning!
