I know people like making jokes, but seriously, if your family has any history of colon cancer, or you are older, get a colonoscopy. Colon cancer is 100% preventable if they see signs of it early. The prep isnt difficult, and the actual exam isnt painful as you are sedated. Geoff, and Adam have both talked about theirs, and they are cool guys, be cool too and give colon cancer the middle finger by getting a colonoscopy. My dad didnt until it was too late and passed away.

Why is someone not immediately interacting with all their friends such a bad thing. I'm not socially awkward per-say but I can have trouble talking to new people when I first meet them. I usually stick with the people I know until I can find an entrance (usually through my friend) to a group of people and then start interacting and talking from there. If you're going to write someone off just because they don't immediately jump in with their friends, that's a pretty quick assumption. I love meeting new people but I'm not immediately comfortable.

I've had friends try to talk me out from dating certain guys and/or making friends with people who were "different" just because they didn't like them at 1st. If I had listen, I would've missed out on getting to know amazing people who also happen to be shy and awkward at 1st.
