I did that when I was about 19 years old. Forgot to set my brakes and it rolled into the parking lot. Luckily nothing got hurt but my pride.

I remember back a long time ago. Right after I had gotten married and was trucking. We had a pool that was like yours. We lived in the county just outside of our little town of around 650 people. We would refill our pool by having the volunteer fire department come to our place for target practice and a cookout. This way we didn't have to worry about running our well dry. They would spray water into the pool and set up other targets in the barn lot. When they had it filled we would do the regular cleaning and treatments. We would have brown water after the shock because of all the iron in water in the area. We used a flauculant in it to stick the iron together so our sand filter would be able to filter it out. Seemed that I got to do the maintenance for the pool but never got that much time in it. But everyone enjoyed it so I guess it was worth the effort. As for the seat I drove a Pete that had the most comfortable seat, "but" it had fitting that had a slow leak. Tried several times to fix it and took it to the shop and was old that the part "air cushion " that was attached to the fitting was over half the price of a new seat. So I drove with it and just reached down and hit the air to bring it back up every hour or longer. When you hit the bunk and got up again it would be almost down to the floor. Miss that old truck it even had a troll brake on it and run like the wind if you wanted it to.

O-H-I-O Porter greetings 🇺🇸 Now that’s one for the books. Was it correct…you unhooked, it rolled out & then you reconnected to the trailer? I’ve not done that, but I did lose a trailer once when the latch wasn’t set properly & I accidentally pulled away from the trailer. This was a 50s Dorsey trailer that didn’t have the kingpin built in. Talking about a THUMP when the trailer hit the ground!!! I guess they kept the pallets or tubs there then. Go figure. I know what happens next. 🥰🤩✌️

I drove a 99 379 with N14 Celect Plus. , whatever 10 times you'd have to use a bent screwdriver and arc it off at the starter solenoid, . Are there driveway is on the hill so I decided to try to roll it off instead. Then the boss man came out and I had already released the brakes. So I did. But I had already released the brakes to do roll it off .. so we're standing beside the truck and he says well are you going with the truck are you going to let it go by itself. Do I turn left and it's real s*** I jumped up in it pulled the brake just before it went in the bottom of the swimming pool LOL that was back in 2009

At 67 yrs old I think I have enough experience to make the comment that no matter how good the participants are at school functions, I have yet to see a sound system in any school, elementary, jr. high or high school that does justice to the participants, all school sound systems suck. Starting with announcements in the morning to performing arts performances for the parents, friends and family that have been worked on tirelessly, the sound system just fails miserably! Just my 2 cents worth. Please don’t take this the wrong way, Not knocking the performers at all.

SHHH, don’t call this to O.S.H.A.’s attention, I thought that move was an experimental time saving maneuver! Out here on the west coast the “slam bangs” (transfer dump trucks) put their truck in reverse and driver jumps out and races the truck back to the trailer to move the tongue of the trailer onto the pintle hitch, then hit the engine kill switch at the back of the truck.
