Mr. Maude, you have a solid form of instruction. You teach to the positive. You do not teach by saying, "don't do this...". You have given me a positive way to address hitting the ball. Your swing circle is enlightening and is what I envision when I get behind the ball. Thank you! You're the best KZbin golf instructor.

I can attest this works. Tried it on the course yesterday. I exagerated it a bit at first which resulted in some big hooks, but I was able to dial it back and get more control. The new setup feels very strange at first, but once you see the new ball flight, you feel far more confident to trust it.

Hi, Danny. Thank you for another great video. I've moved from a slice to a draw, to a hook, and back to a draw. Now what I'd like to know is how to hit a fade without getting back to slice territory. It feels like a slippery slope, but there are holes where a draw just will not work. I would appreciate some feedback on that. Thank you for taking the time and the expense of producing these videos. Your clear instruction has been most helpful. Greg.

Hey Danny. Question. When you refer to closing the face do you achieve that with grip on club or just wit wrists after gripping?

Great video and confirmation. Swing is a process, concentrating on the elbow is so good, but forgetting to turn stuffs it. Seems so obvious, but for me i sometimes do exactly that, thinking i am actually turning as i feel i am turning. Im not, but start looking for reasons and missing the obvious.

Hi! I’m not a coach. Just an enthusiastic player. Consider addressing your teed up ball about 10” or so BEHIND the ball. That spot then becomes your low point and you’ll be swinging more up on the ball. This worked for me. Hope it helps. Do a practice swing with the thought of “low to high” and remember ALL of Danny’s thoughts on arm positioning and clubface.

Hi Danny. What I do in back swing is feel my weight go into my trail heel Does this accomplish the same as pointing your back pocket to target?

Knew you would explain the original lesson. Do you close the face with your grip and then open it with arm position? I am a consistently hitting down on the ball.

That’s exactly it Simmo, you can change your grip a little or simply hold it normally then close the club face and then square with the forearms.

Great advice, but my issue is my right elbow gets too far behind me on the backswing, even with proper lower body turn, and doesn’t get back in front, tipping the club too vertical. Any advice on how to return it back in front? Keeping the elbows closer together with a trading aid works temporarily, but then I revert back
@_milgauss12 сағат бұрын
Are your feet always staying lined up with the target, or do you reposition them to line up with your shoulders/forearms (after you do the close the face, square it back up with the forearms technique)? Also, does this technique work with irons?
