I dont mind having punjabi, Hindus and Sikhs living in brampton they're very nice people and their food is delicious, but I will say this: in all of my life living in brampton i never experienced so many issues with driving in brampton until indian immagrants migrated to this city , and because of all the car accidents and dangerous road rage, car insurance sky rocketed and now someone like me who has never been in a car collision has to pay hundreds of dollars because of their negligent driving habbits...... my point is please be safe, focus and dont be distracted when driving. Follow the rules !!😁

Where I live a residency program called PNP brought allot of people to "live" here The people become Canadian residents as soon as the plane hits the runway. They go to the DMV and swap their drivers licence - for free and don't have to take a driving exam They drive the biggest cars and SUV and trucks they can find They don't stay long, but allot of rich people take advantage of this poorly run government program.

Before I moved to Brampton, I had no idea HOW MANY Indians actually lived here. I'm of south Asian descent but I grew up here as a Canadian. I still keep my culture but I'm Canadian FIRST. It's true too, some of them don't believe in deodorant, holy shit I literally had to tell a guy who sat beside me on the bus that he smelled. I know it was rude but if someone doesn't tell these people, they will think not wearing deodorant is normal. I miss the Canada I grew up in. My friends were mostly white but there was a nice mix of us: white, black, asian so we all got along. Today, everyone is in their own groups, strangers are the enemy, there is so much more segregation than there has ever been. Not long ago at a Tim Hortons I heard an Indian guy who was clearly new to the country telling his friend he didn't have to learn English because everyone in Brampton speaks Punjabi, it was insulting hearing that.....Listen up Indians and any immigrants coming here: BEFORE you come here, learn English, LEARN the customs and learn the CANADIAN WAY. You owe it to Canada, give something back before you start taking.

How ignorant is your comment omg🤦‍♀ "In india people can earn more than anywhere else in the world" Are you alright in the head? Ik countless people who are either underpaid or highly over qualified for their current jobs. People are literally sitting jobless at their homes with recognized college degrees in their hands. Sab 'hardwork' karte hain, but jab jobs hain hi nahi toh milegi kaise? Next time, think twice before throwing out statements like these. Its not 'Easy' to go abroad, students mostly carry heavy loans with them for their studies abroad. This is because somewhere they know that the chances of having a better quality of life as compared to India is more in a foreign country. My father also gave me a chance to go for higher studies outside india but I chose not to because I cant stay away from them but even ik that probability of me leading a better life in every which way, will be better in a foreign country.

Ok so there's a lot of back and forth racial comments in here so I'm going out on a limb. I've been living in castlemore bramton since 2005 1st phase. It was multicultural then, which is how it should be. I grew up in Woodbridge where there were more Italians than other cultures, but I could get a job there,and I did not feel out of place. The problem that I have with Brampton is that, the Indians do not hire any other culture in their business places, from the banks straight down to the grocery stores. I would also like to keep my property value up to par and even that's becoming hard. Segregation is UNACCEPTABLE!!. It bothers me that the government is allowing this to happen. I see job postings online that's asking for Punjabi as a second language. Any job postings in Canada should have either French or English requirement, any other language(s) is a plus. This comment is based on my own experience being a resident of Brampton. Facts is facts!
@blackgold1980

You are quite right and I see the same thing with Indian expat communities in different countries. The issue is that people can come to Canada from anywhere and they will not integrate or even acknowledge that people with different cultures are here and they bring the baggage from there home countries here. As a black Canadian I'm sick of this. Multiculturalism isn't working and I think that Canada is storing up a lot of problems in the future if it continues like this.

Nice Video but such misleading comments by people. No you cant afford everything with the minimum wage. People here are doing 2 jobs a day. Only skilled resources make good money, but they dont want to put in the same effort in India. I am in Canada too, making good. Money but did not like the misleading comments displayed in this video. If you did your masters properly i am sure you can make good money in India. Yeah if you did it with jugaad from an unrecognized university then i can't tell. I know of people who attended college/University programs in Toronto and still can't get good jobs. So if you were paid 5000 after your masters then there is something you didn't tell us about masters in this video. Again another comment in the video is that guy mentions of you making only 10000, that's if you are working on a low profile clerical job, but if you are qualified, hard working then surely you can achieve a lot there too... I started with 8k INR but thats not where i am today. And $14/hr doesn't give you your house, car and all you mentioned in the video. I know for people from certain areas in India, its all about how they can make it to Canada by Hook or Crook and this video just motivates them. I am not here to say India is better than Canada or any form of comparison, every country has its baggage and so does India. Its is about what you can do with the resources you have.

People working in minimum wage job can barely afford two times meal and rent for shared apartment but people working minimum wage job in Canada can easily afford basic amenities and plus the pollution free environment. No corruption. The best part is no Indians around. That's the difference . Go figure it out. Every truck driver can buy Ford mustang in Canada where as engineer's can't afford ecosport in india. No matter which car you buy the road conditions are pathetic in india . Don't act like you know everything because you moved here, let people make their own choices. Everyone knows the truth.

Local Brampton Mayors and Ontario gov never tried to put/invite some universities, hospitals and white collar jobs in Brampton, due to that Brampton became mostly bedroom community and all mix people started leaving city by seeing huge influx of South Asian population. Most people in Brampton are either truck driver, construction worker or labourer working in warehouse, while North-West part of Brampton is mostly young IT people working in Downtown or Mississuaga. I personally don’t know a single person who works in Brampton. But, still every Indian wants to live in Brampton just because of food & brown community. Now Brampton will become more brown and brown every year, just because there is no reason for other community to come and live in Brampton, no white collar jobs, not many hospitals or colleges or universty which can bring mix crowd. Brampton will be 100% south asian in next 10 years as most 50%+ new immigrants to Canada are from South Asia and every year 450000 new immigrants comes to Canada!

Being a critical sardar myself, i can certainly say that our community is the most dangerous which comes very close to being called a terrorist outfit, because of the way we behave with outsiders or with different community people..Like we say about Islam being a terrorist supporting faith, Sikh may not support bombings, & killings but they do cause a violent protest(acts of vandalism, hooliganism fully supported by the faith itself is a total shame) in case something is said or goes against them, which is nothing but being TERRORISTS. I no longer like to associate with sardars because of the shame they have brought with their actions. I only say, 1. become TOLERANT, 2. RESPECT THE LAW OF THE LAND, 3. LEARN FROM ADVANCED CIVILIZATIONS HOW TO BEHAVE & 4. make the community better than other communities at least.

Brampton born and raised. The city drastically changed in the 90’s. I will be the first to say not all Indians are bad drivers, or bad homeowners! They come from another place and not used to the Canadian culture. Cutting grass may not be a thing in India, parking cars on the front lawn may be fine in India. It’s something we will have to get used to. Sure it’s an eyesore but surely their kids will be Canadian and adopt the cleanliness aspect.

@ICUDR
@ICUDR Жыл бұрын
@@mangopudding5979 there is a so called “Brampton” phenomenon that most of the GTA know the city by. The first thing that comes to mind when you say “Brampton” to anyone who lives outside of the city will say bad drivers and second no pride of home ownership. Professionals from the auto industry have concluded the highest rate of insurance fraud and car accidents are in the city of Brampton ; hence why the insurance rates are the highest in the country. Second point, home ownership, most newcomers from this area in the world do not care about home maintenance because 90% of the homes are rented; therefore, the renters don’t necessarily care about the external aesthetics of the home because frankly it’s not theirs to care for or maintain. This in turn, makes the home itself look rundown and unkept. For example, multiple cars on the driveway including parking on front lawns is a new thing to Canadians. Usually your front lawn was reserved for grass. It’s an eyesore for those who aren’t used to seeing homes look like that. But at the same time, there is no other city I’d rather live. Indians are some of the nicest, hardworking people I’ve ever met in my life and I know their children are expected to excel academically.

America is diverse. Just cause you don't have a lot of non white people does not mean you do not live in diverse country. In America you got Irish, German, Scottish, British and all of the Americans ancestors were immigrants. Very diverse. Liberals just think you gotta add darkness to be diverse. Sad

In India Talented people from IIT, IIM, NIT, AIIMS are getting almost 2 lakh per month as a Fresher. If you don't have any talent then only you are not paid well. Then cost of living in Canada ia almost 3 times that of India. You earn more and you spend more. Then most of people who now migrate from India to Canada spend almost 25 lakh in Canadian universities to migrate their. In 25 lakh you can start a new business and can earn well in India itself. Yes foreign dream is good but it is only good if you are directly getting a job as a Engineer in USA, UK after graduation from Indian University. These people work as Manual Labour in Canada and than brag about their lifestyle. Same

I moved to Halifax from India. Lived there 2 years, moved to Etobicoke then Kitchener, then Waterloo and now leaving in Brampton. Its been 7 years in Canada and 1.5 years in Brampton. When someone asks me why you live in Brampton, it’s unsafe city or ghetto. I am like hell no, never leaving Brampton. Brampton is safe city compare to some other GTA cities, look at statistics. Its just have bad name because of lots of south asian people. Brampton is brampton, only place I feel belonged and enjoying living in Canada with little Indian tweest. Brampton takes away our dependency on cooking during hectic days as restaurants are hell cheap, easy to find home-cooked tiffin with lots of options. Main reason easy to find Gujarati foods and other vegetarian food. Tons of pure vegetarian Indian restaurants in Brampton. Great feelings come when you are tried and don’t want to cook and at same time don’t want to eat in restaurants then home-cooked food is always available to your neighbourhood for just 6-7 dollar.

I grew up in BRAMALEA, now incorporated with Brampton. BRAMALEA was an idyllic community made up primarily of Brits, European, and African-Canadians. Then Justin’s Dad (Pierre) opened the floodgates of immigration in the ‘70’s to ensure his re-election while transforming Canada into a Socialist Society (Socialized “Free” Health Care paid for by mammoth taxes on the middle class) while promoting “Multiculturalism” as the new Canadian Utopia. In his later years, while close to death, Pierre declared that “Multiculturalism DOESN’T WORK!” And, guess what? Neither does “Free” Healthcare!” As each culture swelled, they felt as though they didn’t need to assimilate. When I return to Canada/Brampton to visit family, I’m disgusted! The Indian residents (who Now comprise about 90% of BRAMLADESH’s population) do NOT look after their housing/property. The older/original neighborhoods where I grew up (well-cared for homes with manicured lawns, lush green-belts with pathways connecting neighborhoods and parks) now borders on slum-like conditions. It’s sad and downright depressing when I visit. All of my high school friends have fled the dilapidated area, and no wonder! Canada’s lax immigration laws, failed “Multiculturalism” and Socialist welfare system have all destroyed Canadian culture AND their middle class (strangled by immense taxation). I was fortunate to have grown up in the BRAMALEA of old, but I am so blessed to have escaped when I did! 🇺🇸

My husband experienced a violent road rage from an Indian stranger who happened to be driving in front of him, and then that indian stranger stopped and got out of his car.
